Life saver. I’m not kidding. I hit a slump in January abd it just felt so dark and heavy. I don’t know why but I just wanted to give up, I was so numb. I ordered a bunch of supplements trying to tinker. This was one of em and wow, I’ve since abstained from the other supplements I got, only take this w a few others I have been on all my life. The stark contrast in how I felt, began to feel, abd then went back to, when I ran out. It was like someone turned on the sunshine and good music in my head. I just felt content (and for no good reason, lol) so it was really working. I then ran out and have been desperate to get more but money is tight. Soon. But if ur on the fence, don’t be. BUY IT. also I was very strong/kinda fishy smell. I kept it in a ziplock freezer bag under my bed. It’s not bad, it’s just weird. Also, I didn’t repeat on me all day long either, once it was absorbed I wasn’t stating it in burps all day. Try it, the worst that could happen is u get happy or nothing changes

This stuff works! It is effective! It definately improves my mood! I have used this for years! They improved the smell. This is the best price for SAM-e!

ive been using these for almost a year now and I can say that my mental state has been better than ever! do they taste good? no. do they smell good? no but they do work for me!

I was feeling apathetic toward everything in life. Just mild depression. Taking this once or twice a day seems to help me get some motivation to get up and moving again. I feel good. I take this on an as-needed basis, but sometimes I need to tell myself to take it even if I don't feel depressed right at breakfast time, when I usually take my vitamins/supplements. The question asks about flavor. I don't taste anything, but it does stink, lol. Every brand smells like broccoli when the bottle is opened.

Taken every morning, first thing on an empty stomach. I typically take 1000mg (2 caps). I am a 200lb athletic male. Gives me a lift in the morning and help clears mental fog. I lift very heavy weights and at 33 have yet to suffer from any joint problems. Can’t say whether these contribute to my joint health, but as a possible side-benefit I appreciate the insurance. Capsules will inevitably lose efficacy faster than blister-packed tablets, so I keep mine in the fridge. Best Value I’ve found on Amazon!

I just purchased this Sam-e and the smell is horrible. I also noticed that the bottle indicates that it is 20% S-adenosyl-methionine. I assume that is 20% Sam-e at 500 mg per capsule with 80% fillers, but it’s not really clear. Judgement is out on effectiveness. Tried to leave a review at the actual manufacturer website, which by the way is cheaper at $24.99. However, link doesn’t work. Update, I’ve been taking this for a I guess a couple of weeks, it’s seems to work fine, but the smell just gets worse as I go along to the point it almost makes you nauseated. I’ve taken Sam-e before and I’ve never had one smell before. I won’t be buying again. Because of this I’ve lowered my rating to one. I dread to think what they put into it to make it stink so bad. I hope the manufacture gets a clue soon and fixes the issue.

This was suggested because of Fibromyalgia. Fibro never goes away and affects different parts of the body at different times in different ways. I was having a lot of problems in arms to where I couldn't lift a quilt off me when I got up in the mornings and putting a pull over top on or getting it off was so painful I would feel like passing out. I have been on these for about 3 weeks and now I can do the above. There is still pain and I am sure always will be but this does make it manageable, even on pain medication I still hurt. Give it time.

These absolutely smell horrid! I'm not super sensitive to the smell of vitamins and supplements, I've used different ones with lots of odor or taste, but these are one of the worst. They are easy to swallow, work as well as others, and are cost effective. I was glad when I finished them, couldn't wait to get another brand.
