Dress-Rehearsal for Your Newly Purchased Punk Rock Life
Doesn't serve well as a model nostril ring - the gauge is too low. The thickness doesn't flatter the delicate noses of most women as a nostril adornment. That said, it is a suitable mock-septum ring, and it gives you the sensation of having something in that place, if you want a 'dry run' at having the piercing, without any initial commitment. I did that, and the actual piercing is more comfortable than the trial clip-on, so I think this is a good metric of your tolerance for the presence of stinging metal in your nose.Additionally, the look of it, as a septum ring (which are commonly ~16-14g rather than the 18-16g of nostril rings), is pretty accurate, so you can also gain a sense of living with your pierced face in the mirror every day, before committing to 24/7 jewelry placement. If I am bold, I might venture that you could also get a sense of social reaction. Your hardcore metalhead friends might well ridicule you for playing "Cautious Kevin" or worse--"Poser Polly"--since you've opted for a trial/fake piercing (depending on how you acknowledge it), but to hell with them, you don't want to punch holes in your face just for good times without ensuring that it at least looks cool. Well, you can also gauge the response of elders passing you by on the street, averting their eyes and tightening their grip on handbags, and of trophy wives, snarling and behaving even more condescendingly than usual, and of skaterpunks, art school dropouts, burners and burn outs, a society where you find you've gained a new foothold--that is, so long as they never know it is all a deception. Never forget--you are Aladdin in Jasmine's Palace. This is all an illusion. Until you achieve the social capital of Gatsby through a simple rite of passage, you are a poseur, and must never let them know the dark truth of your secret unpierced orifice.Highly recommended.Best of luck to you.

I love them so much!
Anyone that reads my reviews knows that I love to change it up. And this does just that. Everyone sees me as the little angel. Sometimes I want to be a little edgy without fully investing in piercings. This gives me the look minus the pain. I love these clip on piercings.

painful but realistic
I love these! They look great and super realistic as lip, septum, and earrings. All my friends thought they were real. The only problem I have with these is that if you leave them on too long it starts to hurt.

Cute, but they hurt--had to make adjustments.
I have my septum pierced, but I used to only like wearing the seamless rings.. and it was a hassle trying to get those in and out for work every day, so I bought these to make my life easier..Pro: They look cute and petite, work really well on a feminine face.Con: They hurt.. the part that slides in and out will dent your skin.I fixed this issue by removing the part that slides in and out, and pinching the ring itself a little more closed so I could just slide it in and out of my nostrils and let it hang there on the cartilage. Had to make sure it was snug for that to work. It was still really cute, but I ended up quitting my job and just keeping a seamless ring in all the time.Probably best for someone who doesn't want to commit to piercing or has parent's that would kill you if you got one.

Too big to look like a real piercing.
Too big for nose rings, and depending on how big or small your lips and nose is it will probably look fake. Wore it as an accessory for a conch piercing but it hurt after a while. Good quality though, and came quickly. Bought them for fake nose rings though so I'm disappointed there are so many that are only one size.

very nice, but hurt after a while
These are very nice and they look real. I mainly only wore them on my bottom lip because it was too hard to get on as a nose ring and it looked bad as an earring. These are very small, so they're easy to lose. I did notice that after a couple hours or so of wear, they started to hurt the outside of my lip, where the bare metal touched my lip. I believe this could be fixed by filing down the metal into a smoother point.
