As someone with dry and slightly sensitive skin who can’t use super active products on her face this is the best vitamin/hyaluronic serum blend I’ve ever used. I found it when I was having breakouts from other vitamin C, creams and oils, and this was unbelievably calming and has never caused a breakout, even when mixed with other beauty products. The price point is perfect for different budgets, a little goes a long way, very limited ingredients, and the subtle sent is beautiful.

On the c-serum container. Just open it all the way to the end till you hear a click (you can hear that in my video) that way it won’t sputter and create a mess during application.Okay, problem statement (lol): so I had a very simple and straightforward routine before and during my pregnancy. However after my baby arrived, I noticed my oily skin was just suddenly super dry with ashy skin, rough and not quite as bright as it used to be, I wanted that to change. I also noticed that there were these white-ish flakes when I applied moisturiser, read on google that they were dead skin, so I decided to do what I can to remedy the situation! Enter my search for vitamin c and a replacement moisturiser since the one I was using from another brand suddenly started feeling super hot on my face as soon as I applied it. Ps, I’ve tried various C-serums and none ever worked for me, I mean I never saw any difference so I didn’t really expect much from this, I however wanted a moisturiser and serum that would work on oily and sensitive skin, not feel heavy on my face, as well as not feel heated too. After weeks of searching and reading reviews I decided to just get these. Fast-forward to 1 week after I started using it, I’m super impressed and pleased.Pros: light on the face. The C-serum Actually brightened my skin tone after 1 week of use, I see it evening out the tone too. The moisturiser moisturises without feeling heavy either, it’s a thicker product so massaging it into the skin is important else you’ll feel like it’s too heavy. They don’t feel hot on my face. The smell is almost non-existent - which I just love! My face had some rough feel to it, after I started using these and changed my routine, my face is beginning to feel smooth. When I got pregnant, I stopped wearing/would only wear light makeup when there’s a big occasion, since my baby arrived it’s been no make up at all so I needed products that keep my face supple, these have done just that. I no longer have ashy skin on my face after a face wash or rinse, my face no longer feels heated when I apply these products, and the whitish flakes of dead skin are gone - remember routine change was just as important as changing products!Cons: still figuring this one out lol.Side note in case it helps: You might want to consider what’s working for you and what’s not. I now exfoliate thrice a week (an organic/natural exfoliator and will gradually reduce to twice and maybe once a week as things progress), I use a konjac facial sponge at night and sometimes use a sleeping mask/moisturiser.

This is a great serum! The quality is excellent, and the price is very reasonable for what you get. I’ve noticed my skin looks brighter and feels smoother since I started using it. I always choose products that are EWG certified, and Honest Beauty is one of the few brands I truly trust for clean and safe ingredients. This serum has become a staple in my skincare routine—I highly recommend it!

I loved this stuff so much but had to stop using it. It was okay on my face but after it touched my lids I felt itching and stinging. I felt so gentle on my skin. I used this product as long as I could because I didn’t want to believe it. Once I stopped using it, the condition on my eye-lids went away. Good product…just not for me.

I just hit 30 and decided to start a real skincare regimen. I decided to start with one vitamin C serum and have never used a serum before. I feel good about what I'm putting on my skin. The first time I put it on I used two pumps - that was too much. Other reviewers said it feels sticky and definitely with two pumps they are right. I switched on the second day to just using one pump and it's the perfect amount. It does feel slightly sticky at first but it definitely goes away. I didn't think this serum would make that much of a difference but it does - after two days I'm obsessed with how healthy and glowy (but not too much!) my skin looks! I think it's more the hyaluronic acid in the serum than the vitamin C that is giving me the immediate results, but apparently even really small doses of vitamin C can help improve your skin.UPDATE: Still loving this product! It's the mica in it that gives you that immediate natural glow. It's really not sticky - it's a serum, not a cream, so you have to give it time to sink into the skin. I have combo skin and even the oily parts soak it up. I swear I'm even a little less oily now because of this serum's proper hydration. With the hyaluronic acid, it hydrates my face far better than the neutrogena sensitive skin moisturizer I used to use. Working from home in quarantine, I put only this on my face in the morning and I'm golden. I add some SPF if I go outside :) I know it's got very little Vit C in it, but I'm not looking for a heavy-duty Vit C serum yet, and I feel good about consistently putting on a little bit every day, as even little bits have brightening effects. My skin has never looked better!

I’m such a fan of this product! I use it all the time. I have extremely dry skin and I am in the sun a lot. I put this on my face every night. It makes my skin very smooth and keeps it well hydrated. I also have used it on my husband‘s face when he had a little bit of sunburn. He did not even peel and the next day his face was not red but tan. This is a must have for me.
