Mirror Image 24043 Square Double Arm Wall Mirror, 1X and 3X Magnification, Chrome

Very high quality, very expensive looking and perfect resolution without distortion. It is SUPER HEAVY and I had to use anchors from hardware store to keep it in the wall - material supplied with the mirror to attach the mirror to the wall will NOT hold up. This mirror is solid brass and plated with chrome - very heavy.

Mirror is very well made and matches our fixtures.

Good, but the connection of the wall has a little be of play that can cause the mirror to slump a little when extended to the right or left.

Very well designed, attractive rock solid, similar to hotel quality. love it for my upgraded bathroom. It is heavy and with a extending arm and small foot print you will want to attach to a stud, not wallboard mount.

Mounting plate could not be assembled due to misalignment of the screws. Sent it back and got the minimalist Rectangular Vanity Mirror which works great.

The double arm swings the mirror out or allows the mirror to lay relatively flat against the wall when not in use. The mirror itself tilts up and down, as well as swivels between magnifications. All in all, it’s an attractive modern style wall-mounted mirror.Mounting requires the use of a drill and a Philips head screwdriver. Undo two screws to release the mounting bracket from the mirror. Using the mounting bracket, mark the wall for the two mounting screw locations. Drill two holes large enough for the anchors to fit tightly, insert the included anchors, and screw the mounting bracket to the wall. Lastly, attach the mirror to the mounting bracket.As nice as the Mirror Image 24043 square double arm wall mirror is, I’m not sure it’s a good value for money. Even though mounting is simple, there were no instructions whatsoever. Nor is there any warranty information, or any indication that it has one. Mirror Image is a product line, so I went to the Aptations Inc’s website to find the mirror is covered by a three year warranty to be “free from defects in material and workmanship”. As nice of a mirror this is, it seems the company is more cost conscious than customer centric. I would not personally for pay over two hundred dollars for it.When time allows, I shave with a straight razor. With the 3X magnification I can really see what I am doing. The Mirror Image 24043 square double arm wall mirror looks great and works well for my purposes. This one is made of chrome, and the mirror measures 7.75”. The arm will extend out 11.5”. The mirror will swivel to use either the normal mirror or the magnification side. The mirror will tilt to the proper angle you need.The Mirror Image is very well made. It is fairly easy to install. Most bathrooms are drywall, but I recommend that you find a stud and mount the bracket directly to the stud. If you have tile on the walls, mounting might be a real problem – you would probably need a professional to mount it. Before you buy it, make sure where you are going to mount it and that there is sufficient room. Locate the stud you will mount it on so you can be sure it will fit.There are no lights on this mirror. Most bathrooms are well lighted and this should not be a problem.This is a beautiful mirror – but it is a tad expensive. It is very modern design, so I don’t think it would fit if everything else is not modern.
