Unscented Smooth Hand-Dipped 9-Inch Taper Candle, 12-Count, Garnet

Over the years I had my share of problems with cheap candles dripping all over the place, until I discovered Root candles. Yes, they are much more expensive than the supermarket variety, but they didn’t drip. At least they used to not drip. Beginning with orders last year, and especially this year, they started to drip like crazy, almost every single one of the candles. Two examples are shown in the attached pictures. I used to love Root candles and was willing to pay the price. Not anymore! I can buy candles that drip like crazy at a fraction of Root’s price at any supermarket. Root, whatever you changed in your manufacturing processes, please correct it!!!Update: Ok, I removed all the “dripless” runoff and relit the candles next day. This is what happened to one of the two candles! This is outright dangerous, it could easily have started a fire. As a retired volunteer firefighter, I have seen my share of house fires, this could have been one. Root Candles, stop selling and recall this garbage!!!

this product is advertised as being a pack of two boxes of root candles. It is one box, not two and the box does not look like Root Candles boxes at all nor do the candles. They look close but not like Root candles at all, and there seems to be no option to contact this seller to get the two boxes advertised. I would not recommend.

The Root candles ae really nice. They last fairly long, are dripless, and come in varying lengths. I feel they are slightly more pricey, but I believe it mostly worth it. In the past candles were slightly disfigured after time in a drawer, waiting for their turn to do their job. These Root candles don't seem to. They are fat, not like the tapered candles that often warped. They come in several colors. I love having no mess.

I used to buy Root candles frequently, but the last time I bought them, I was disappointed- they dripped and were quite messy. I bought these because they were available most quickly, decided to take a chance, and I was pleasantly surprised. They did not drip at all, and multiple candles in various holders burned evenly. Although I still prefer solid beeswax candles, I won’t hesitate to buy Root candles if I need a certain color or want a more cost-effective choice.

Really beautiful candles! I love that the diameter is slightly just larger than standard taper candles but the size on the end is regular. They can fit multiple size taper candle holders. And the texturing on the outside is lovely against my vintage alabaster candle holders.The packaging they came in was nice as well. This would make a good gift for a candle lover.

Beautiful dinner tapers. Arrived as described, however poor packing by Amazon. No broken taper fortunately, Buyer beware, best buy these alone, instead of combined with other items, because no bubble-wrap was use, nothing to prevent shifting and bouncing around in the box. Amazon gets a double FF for shipping.

I gave it 3 fir ‘value for the price’ because I think they are overpriced. I do like them in every other regard. I *love* that are I scented and they look so nice. I use them for decoration at Christmas, so I don’t light them. They do not fade, stay the same for years. I do recommend them.

It’s a beautiful candle. I got the really big sz. Thought it would last for a long time . It “exploded” on me in 10 minutes or so. I am not sure what went wrong🤦‍♀️
