Perfect option for the price
Does everything it needs to. Has great headgear similar to the higher end helmets. It lacks any of the bells and whistles, which is to be expected at this price point.I’ve been using this helmet as a professional welder for a year, and I’ve never had any issue with it.When dropped, the front does like to pop out, but it always pops right back in, nothing damaged.Highly recommend, I doubt you’ll find better in his price range.

Almost perfect.
This replaced a now-defunct company's $50 helmet that I couldn't find lenses for.The Hobart unit has more sensors, but a smaller FOV (same as almost all others....the one I had was extra extra large). The old unit gave me a couple non-starts, despite being correctly adjusted, causing much discomfort to my eyes. The first time was forgivable, the second time I pitched it. I have used the Hobart mask more than twice as much now and it hasn't flashed my eyes yet.The head strap is almost too complicated, though it's really not bad after you figure it out. The complicated design does allow numerous adjustment points for that perfect fit. And it's very comfortable once it's adjusted.Comes with a bunch of extra lenses, which is great! You do have to crank down on the side knobs to keep the helmet in the up position, but I have no trouble with it.Only thing I really don't like is that all the controls are inside the unit. You can get your gloved fingers to the controls with the mask down, but you can't adjust them unless you're in your bare hands. That kinda stinks. There is also no on/off button. You're just supposed to leave it in a dark place I guess so the non-replaceable battery doesn't die (it recharges during use?). My little welding cabinet has it's own drawer for the helmet so it's a moot point for me, but maybe not for you.I'm sort of a Hobart fan boy, using almost exclusively all Hobart products and figured why not the helmet, too. I don't regret purchasing it at all.

Good value
Its worth every penny. Comes with replaceable front screens, when splatter damages the cover. Hood is able to lock in the up position when not welding for a while. Auto darkening is good response time (faster than the princess auto brand which I replaced). Must turn the dial everytime to use grinding setting :( head band is fairly comfortable. Viewing area is a little smaller than expected but over all good value

Quality helmet
It works exactly as described, lightweight and comfortable. Battery check for safety and fast darkening speed

Works as advertized
I am using the mask for dodging prints under 1k UV light. The mask gets too dark on auto for my purposes but I use it on grind mode. It saves my face from the intense light. I have two sets of goggles from a different source that I double up to protect my eyes.
