This backup camera was exactly what I needed for my Silverado! The installation was straightforward and it fit perfectly in place of the factory tailgate handle. The picture quality is super clear, both during the day and at night, which makes backing up with a trailer or parking in tight spots a lot easier. The included wiring was plenty long enough to run to the front, and the RCA connection made it simple to hook up to my head unit. The handle itself feels sturdy and well-made, just like OEM quality. For the price, this upgrade is absolutely worth it—I wish I had installed it sooner!

These guys are the best in the trade, had a minor issue on the install but, they were so quick to fix the problem! I highly recommend it and image quality its on of the best I've seen.

Camera looks nice on the exterior of my 2003 Silverado. Only complaint is that the the complete trim would not click into place like the original. I noticed that the plastic hooks thst are supposed to hold the whole assembly in place, were not shaped quite right. I used a dremel tool and reshaped it. After that it still would not snap in and stay put. I ended up tapping two holes in the tailgate and running 2 black 4mm bolts through the assembly to be sure it was snug and couldn't be easily pulled out or fall out on a rough road. All in all, I like it. The image is pretty clear. I don't have a hitch on my truck but I can see a little of the center bumper so I'm sure it would be great for using to back into a trailer. My stereo is an after market and not HD compatible. Just the yellow RCA plug. Good results.

Camera is decent, these will take a little work to make fit right, had to notch the plastic, but looks nice and work great. I can back right up to my trailers!

The mounting tabs on the top wear more fragile than the original that have been on the truck since 2006. The mold does not fit the shape of the hole properly, so while applying the lightest amount of pressure to try and fit it in, 1 tab snapped off instantly. Cheap plastic, tabs under molded with hardly any plastic material at all. So this clearly won't stay on the truck and is now useless to me.

Unit went on easy enough, hardest part was getting the wire fished through thr tailgate. Only negative I can say is I had to do a fair amount of trouble shooting ad the camera was not displaying when I put my truck in reverse. Ended up the tap spade connector installed on the red wire on the video yellow connector end of the cable was not making a connection. After installing a new terminal on the red wire the unit worked as intended. This is why i am giving this 3 stars.

Fit my 06 GMC Sierra perfect the angle on this is much better than the license plate mount cameras and gives you much better view would definitely buy again
