Quick to knit with. Very smooth
This is a nice set of double pointed knitting needles in 11 sizes.I hadn't used stainless steel before (I usually have aluminium needles) and this is a nice comprehensive collectionThe sizes are in half measures so 2.00mm. 2.5mm 3.00mm and so on.I would have liked less of the very small and very large sizes and more of the in between sizes such as 3.25mm which is very common in knitting; being the size 10 that we mostly use for DK or 4plyHowever, very useful and nice quality. Every needle is straight and smooth with good points.Good value and Recommended

Beware - old UK sizes
Just bought these for my daughter. They look fine and they're very light, although the numbering on the packs is the old UK (pre-metric) sizes, so the smaller the number, the fatter the needle. Suggest using an online conversion chart and marking the packs with the new metric number!

Good product
Have so far only used 2 sets of needles and both are excellent, so I imagine the other sets will be also.Arrived in record time.Being not so young and having mostly quite old knitting patterns, I particularly liked that the needles were labelled with the old style UK sizings...7, 8, 9, 10 etc etcVery good value for money.

Great value for money
Fantastic value for money and much more sturdy than bamboo offerings I have used in the past. Smaller sizes are comfortable and well finished so smooth with no snags.Would recommend as a starter set for sock lovers!

Adequate and good range of sizes for good price
I found some of the sizes to be slightly out when measuring on a knitting needle gauge but generally they are perfectly adequate for use

Weird sizes
Thwyde perfectly useable double pointed needles. Just as awkward as any double pointed needles. And for the price, pretty durable. But they're odd sizes. In the UK, knitting needles are measured in millimetres with a quarter of a mm difference so patterns will as you to use a 3.25mm needle (for example). But most of these fell between those sizes when I measured them using a gauge tool. Not 3mm or 3.25mm which should be the next size up but somewhere in the middle. Ok for an experienced knitter who is used to estimating gauge for the size of the finished garment. But not ideal for a beginner.

smooth light and slightly flexible, tapered 'lace' points
I use a lot of multiple threads together and these needles have tapered rather than rounded points. They pierce the centre of the stitches more easily than the 'bullet' pointed needles I have been using, so less likely to get threads left loose rather than knitted correctly.

Complete rubbish
These knitting needles have weird sizes which don't have any rhyme nor reason to scale. How on earth are you supposed to correlate the sizes on the packets to knitting pattern sizes? Size ‘6’ needles being much larger than size ‘10’. Plus the brand on the packs is different to that advertised. So really unhappy and will be returning them asap.
