Limoncello of Sorrento I.G.P. "PèpeCello" (1 Pack)

I bought this while I was in the hospital high on morphine. I’m not sure what it is or how to use it. I’m certain a fun party could be had with it, but where do I find a yummy recipe? I find it interesting I bought this and a dog grooming table the same night. I don’t know how to groom dogs. Maybe I should drink this and take you tube dog grooming classes. Can you drink this straight up? Is it good that way? I have two bottles of this so I’d be happy to share one.

I make limoncello from my own lemons (when I can find 150 proof PGA)...but it can still be a hassle. Sorrento Pepecello is a good alternative. Served with a good ripe cantaloupe and some prosciutto, this makes an excellent hors d'oeuvre or starter.

Bottle arrived quickly, well packed, and in perfect condition. If you are familiar with the product then you will be pleased with the delivery. My 3 Star rating is due to the fact that we do not care for the taste that much. We found if both too bitter and too sweet. Having never tasted this before, that is our fault and not the maker's, but we did not like this one very much. We were trying to duplicate a cocktail from a local bar which they told us was made with Lemoncello and Gin and ?,. and so far our attempts have been failures. We have no idea as to how Pepecello compares with other Lemoncellos, we just found this on Amazon and gave it a try.

I could have made this myself with a jug of Everclear and a few bottles of preserved lemon. This was a taste I did not relive in this liquor. I mean if this is your thing, you go for it. Me, I'd rather not have my nose, throat and chest burn after drinking. I gave it a 1 because the seller got the product to me before the date promised, otherwise it would have been zero. (We poured it out, yick)

Good taste and soft.

The flavor is amazing. Closest to the flavors I experienced in Italy when I was in Sorrento 2 yrs ago.
