Well made, and very precise

On the normal potentiometer, the two pins that connect to the end of the track or typically on the outside edges, and the pin that is connected to the wiper of the potentiometer is in the middle. On this potentiometer, the pin that is connected to the wiper is on the end farthest from the knob. There is a small diagram I did not see at first on the side of the potentiometer and I wired it up wrong making me think it was defective. And upon closer inspection and testing I was able to find the diagram and wire it correctly. These are great if you need fine control.

Fortunately I only needed one of these. Having the knob included makes it a nice package. Price is good but the product quality is not.

It seems like the overall quality of the pots is okay. The main issue that I have with them is they do not go down to 0 ohms. One of mine would only go down to 13 ohms, and the other 34 ohms. A few ohms would be okay, but I am using them for voltage and current control in a bench power supply. Not going down to 0 ohms would only limit the current down to 300ma. If it would go down to 0 ohms, I could limit current as low as a few milliamps.

Lightning hit our gate opener, TWICE! Each time, along with a fried circuit board in the control box, a potentiometer in the actuator arm was blown apart. These have the same specs, but not a flatted shaft. A grinder and file made them fit in place, and after soldering on wires and reassembling, I have 2 working actuator arms again. (saving me hundreds of dollars)
