Shallow read
I have read 2 works on Aghora philosophy prior to this. One of them happens to be Robert Svoboda's (3 books on Aghora) & a hindi book 'AGHOR NAGADA BAJE'(2 vols gujrati translated). Both were masterpieces of their own caliber. Sadly, this book has little to tell biographically & not much in terms of philosophy. At some points even the grammar is fouled. Anyone who is aware of the term Aghora or has dwelled a bit into this subject, won't find this book inviting.

An Intense book.
Aghori – A Biographical Novel is an intense read. It traverses through the life of a common man who subsequently transcends to an ascetic of an truly esoteric practice which is profoundly Indian. The book is a must for all those who are highly sceptical and ignorant of this sect. Each one of us will be enlightened more after reading the book. I would definitely recommend the book to anyone who would like to get an insight into what is Aghor, who is an Aghori and what an Aghori seeks to achieve during his earthly existence.

A good book to start with to know about aghori.
I really enjoyed reading this book as this was my first one about Agori. The author has written in depth about the life of Agori and some of the incidence written will really keep you engaging more into the book. If you really want to know about Agori this is a good book to start with. We hear so many stories right from our childhood, stories that helps us shape ourselves. Aghori is the most misunderstood concept and this book breaks all the stereotypes about aghoris. But at the same time, I feel if there is good There is an evil, And this book focuses on the good part.

Must read Book...
The story of shekar from his childhood to his age of Sadhana where ever he travelled, writer has potrayed so well as if we are there and experiencing the place, the environment and that feel. Small keynotes on guru tatva, diksha ,shakti.. life’s general basic things that one ignores and is stuck in web of maya.. So much so that I have underlined and marked the tatva and spiritual lines for reference in future at any point in my life. This book is best for someone who is at the beginning stages of their spiritual journey to learn about Shiv tatva and also for basic spiritual knowledge.
