Veroyi Mini Camera WiFi Wireless 1080P Full HD Portable Home Security Small Nanny Cam with Motion Detection Night Vision

I'm a single parent that commutes 4 hours round trip M-F for work with a 16 year old teenage son. My teenager son gets into my stuff, does things he says he didn't do, and brings over some unapproved friends over that are not allowed over and says he didn't. My son also does things that are suspicious. Like why does he close all the blinds and windows in the house when he comes home from school on days I can tell people have been in the house when I'm not home. I also have two dogs and want to check up on them when no one isn't home.So I bought two of these and two SIM cards. Instructions were easy to follow and device setup easy as well. Just powered them on, connected to them from my phone, opened the app, set the WiFi network, put in the SIM card and plugged it into the little wired adapter that plugs into a usb brick. The little wired usb cable is great. There are two. One that's just a general regular 2ft length cable for charging and the other one is a short strong one that's meant for keeping it powered all day. What's neat about that one is it hold the camera up and or in any position you want it to be placed in. It's bendable so you can position it in anyway you want giving it the stay in position support you want it to be in unlike with the regular cable that doesn't support positioning and only meant to charge it which won't last all day if you want it to be on all day.I had no issues setting them up, or having them stay on line. The app HDMiniCam is alright. It's not great but it does allow me to watch live at any time and they've never failed. Sometimes I have to restart the app for the cameras to show online but that's just because of a time out when the app is left open. Consider it like refreshing your browser. I also like that I can see all the recorded videos from within the app that are stored on the card. As I originally thought that I'd have to plug them into a reader on my computer to see the recordings that I may have missed when I got the alerts and didn't have time to watch. If you don't have the card, you can only see live streams.Everything stated that would be in the box came with it. I don't use the charge cable as I use the other short one to keep mine plugged in and powered all day long 24/7. I also don't use the magnet for mounting because the powering cable allows it to stand up anyway I want it without having to or needing to use the magnet mount. Additionally the device itself is magnetic without the mount. It's small, nice and reliable. I have them both on my 2.5 GHz network and have no issues.Set the video to 720 resolution haven't tried the 1080 yet. Sometimes there's a lag for just a few seconds when life streaming play first initiates but not a deal breaker. You can flip the screens, set the resolution, recording and trigger settings from the app. App is not that great but still useful and this review is based on the camera and not the app.Now I can see what my dogs are up to when I'm not home and all my sons friends over. They aren't doing anything other than making a mess in my kitchen and watching tv, oh and smoking cigarettes in the back yard. I'm glad I chose this one over the others and have no regrets so I do recommend this device and I plan to buy 2-3 more. Best of luck!

I got this camera so I could see what my dog does all day. Product says there is a mic but I have not been able to hear anything through live view. Maybe it only works with the SD card. Who knows. Motion detector is great when it works. My dog was tearing up stuff right in front of the camera and it did not notify me or take any still shots like it typically does. It's an OK camera. If you are using it for true security reasons, you are probably better off going with something else

1st I wasn't aware that the battery life after charging was less than 1 hr. It wasn't too hard to figure out but the alarm feature was hit or miss and sometimes took awhile to get the alert which isn't helpful if you want to see whats going on at that moment. They were big to be a "spy cam" not so easy to make unnoticeable. The night vision was pretty good, I could see into a dark room and the picture quality was ok. This product would not be good for a reliable security cam. I sent it back to look for a more robust solution

The camera is small and has a magnet on the back. It can be attached to the iron. The picture quality is clear. It is easy to operate. Let me see the picture I want at any time.

Although the specifications looked good I did not have super high hopes because of the price. After investing a solid hour into the instructions and the camera itself, I am really impressed with the quality and ease of use. The IR Night Mode works great as long as there are no other light sources. The Power and Mode sequences are sensitive so you have to practice so you do not need the instructions. I would recommend this camera.

I worked for 10 amto 6pmwork shifts, constantly being away from the home, with this camera, I can easily have instant viewing access to the entire house. really recommend this gadget !
