Bird Seed Bells
The cakes were smashed up so you have to put them in a bowl or feeder. I’d prefer them without the mesh, since they are crumbled, you have to cut it off. The birds like it though, si I’m giving it 5 stars for them😊

Misleading Photo and Description. Birds don't like the seed. No hanger hook or mesh bag.
Total waste of money. I expected the bells to come in a mesh bag. Seed was dry, and my birds won't eat it. Tried to get what I had paid for, but seller sent me the same bells with no way to hang them. Very disappointed with the entire ordeal. I just noticed the seller removed Ready To Hang from the description, but the product photo still clearly shows the bells in mesh bags.

Perfect
My outdoor birds love this. Lasts quite awhile. You need to buy a cage bell for these. Does not have string to hang. A+A+A+A+A

Seed "Bags" Not Bells
I liked the product, but 4 of the 6 seed bells were not even shaped like a bell and were just loose seeds in a plastic package. Once removed, the yellow netting would not even hold the seeds and they fell through, leaving only a net. These should have been sold as loose seed instead. I used 4 of them to put in my bird feeders and the other 2 in my bell cage. Price was cheap, but apparently not disclosed they were defective. Birds didn't care, but I ordered specifically for my seed bell cage.

Accurately described
A little loose seed on bottom; some left in bag so best opened outdoors.*Hang out of direct rain either in covered seed bell holder or structure/awning. Rain washes it away quickly if solely under trees.

OK - Not As Good as A Hanging Loose Seed Feeder
I live in Marin County (about 20 minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge near San Francisco). According to some calculations there are between 240-300 birds that can be spotted here year round. One of the highlights for me has been watching and discovering the different birds outside my family room window. I purchased these hoping I could hang them from a tree - but they come with nothing attached to hang them - they really should come with a hanging medium. If they did have a hanging device I would give it four stars because this bird blend does attract quite a few birds. I simply set it on a potted plant and it still receives quite a few visitors. I also have a feeder with loose seeds. The feeder (which hangs from a tree branch) attracts a lot of birds and I have noticed that many more birds prefer the loose seeds to this clump. Therefore, in my experience over this past month I've probably seen 4-1 more birds on the loose seeds hanging feeder I have over this bird blend. The blend does attract birds, but if you want to attract more birds get a hanging - loose seed feeder.

good for the critters
Nice feeders. they do have a tendency to crumble a bit in the bag.

Birds Refuse to Eat It
I've ordered this in the past with no problem. But latest batch was completely dried out and crumbling, so large amounts of the seeds fell out of the yellow plastic nets that held it. And the birds won't eat it. Terrible, terrible product. No excuse for selling such a stale and expired product.

LOVE
Birds and squirrels love it.

Poor product.
Very disappointing. The bells arrived as bags of loose seeds that I had to empty on the lawn. Adding insult to injury - I found bells at a local store for a quarter of the price.
