Marie Harte just kepts getting better. The latest in her Cougar Falls series "Foxy Lady" is better than the previous ones. The characters more interesting and the plots tighter than her earlier offerings.Sherriff Ty Roderick definitely wants straight-laced, reponsible Julie Easton but when she drukenly offers herself to him, he turns her down thinking he was being a gentleman. Boy, was he wrong. She never forgave him for turning her away just when she finally got up the (liquid) courage to go after what she always wanted.So, when Ty hears that Julia and her sisters are in trouble--he races to go save her and claim her as his own. She reluctant but their smokin hot chemistry cannot be denied.Great read. Looking foward to the next book in the series.

I enjoyed how much trouble Julie is to Ty during march madness. I really thought that this was my favorite book of the cougar falls series until I read Julie's sister book Gabby. If you enjoy small town living and everyone knowing everyone else's business then you will love this book !

I really enjoyed this latest addition to the Cougar Falls" series. This was a a great short story. It was pretty in depth and very entertaining. I really liked the characters and the plot. Can't wait for Gabby and Grady's book!

I really enjoyed this story! I haven't read any of the rest of the series, but I plan to now.I love Ty and Julia together. Julia is fiesty and strong, ready to take care of her younger sisters, Gabby and Meghan. She has lusted after Ty for years but gave him the cold shoulder, not wanting to be just another notch on his belt.After getting drunk one night, her inhibitions low and her courage high, she makes a play for Ty. Ty refuses, thinking how could he take advantage of her while she might not know what she's offering. Ty soon regrets this, as he does really want her, and has done since they were young.When they come together, it's very sexy and animalistic, and while in their fox form. Besides the erotic sex scenes, I loved the interplay between the two of them. Ty and Julia are sexy and playful and flirty as they feel out this attraction. Just loved it. My favorite line is when Julia tells Ty she's not looking for a man. He tells her: Too bad, you found one. This sums up Ty and his attitude- alpha all the way, cocky and confident, a real sly fox who intends to get what he wants, and that's Julia.Along with this romance, there is some nice action and danger as Julia and her sisters are targeted by some Hunters. Also, we meet some of Ty's friends (and maybe they are also in the earlier books but this is my first one to read): Gerald, Sean, Monty and Grady. Loved all of these guys and can't wait to read their books also.All in all, this was a very good shifter romance. I really liked it.
