Pelonis NT20-12D Ceramic Safety Heater

I purchased this for about 20$ in 2016 from Amazon. I expected I'd get what I paid for, maybe six months or one winter of use. My bedroom is about 120sq feet. I have been using this for four years, almost every night for 12 hours straight for possibly 8-10 months a year. Keeps my room crisp and toasty. I don't even have to keep it at the max temp, only half way through. The automatic cutoff workly perfectly and keeps it from overheating or burning out. Many nights I have to get and switch off the thing because it gets too hot. But have to mention that my room is well insulated. I would absolutely recommend this and love it to bits because I switch off my central heat at night and can still sleep comfortably saving a ridiculous amount of money. Have to warm that it's a bit loud, I have gotten used to the white noise and now cannot sleep without it in the summer so I just switch on the fan. Unfortunately it's seems to be no longer available. I had come back to purchase a couple more because I'm moving to a bigger apartment. I'll probably buy the other model from pelonis. If it's available, snap it up immediately is my suggestion.

Works perfectly for my bathroom. I wanted to be able to warm the bathroom space to give my child a bath without having to run the shower just to create some steam. This allows me to save a ton on my water bill and still have a nice warm space for my little guys. They are still being bathed in the standalone baby tub - so not immersed in water. I'm able to keep this right on the counter top and have it blowing in the general direction of the tub. Since we are not producing any steam from the shower, I have not had any issues with corrosion. Also, it is not whisper quiet! It doesn't bother us since we aren't using it to warm a room.

This heater puts out more than enough heat, and quickly, for my medium-sized bathroom. The thermostat works really well; although it doesn't have actual numbers you can easily figure out your preferred setting. Four stars instead of 5, because, even on low, it is loud. It would definitely be too loud for an office cubicle, and would only work in a bedroom overnight if you like white noise and don't mind the noise going on and off. For a bathroom, it's just fine. I have an old model, small, square pelonis heater that is very quiet, so I don't know why this one needs to be so noisy. It's very stable on the floor, as it's got a solid base that's bottom-heavy. When I tilt it over, it does NOT shut off. It does state that it has an automatic shutoff for overheating. I haven't had it long enough to comment on energy efficiency, although the box touts efficiency as one of its features.

Very happy with this heater. It blows heat and is so small and compact. There was a mix up during the shipping process, as the vendor sent a note indicating this would arrive on-time in about a couple of weeks (Amazon had free two day shipping), so I was a little confused. A day or two later, I received an update, that it was shipping immediately, and it arrived two days later. So it didn't arrive two days after the order, but two days after they discovered the issue. I didn't have to point this out to them, they just picked up the dropped ball and ran with it. The heater is small, light, quiet, and functions as it should.

Great little heater. Energy efficient. I tried a different product, not sure why, it said it was energy efficient but was an energy guzzler. I cannot even use it it costs so much. Could have just been the electrical wiring in the apartment??? This one may be now off the market. Eventually the heat made the metal cave in until the fan rubbed against the frame but I used it until it stopped working. Did not cause any sparks, power surges, or any concern for worries. The frame is plastic, the fan is probably also plastic. It just made a light clicking sound; it was not strong enough to impede the function of the fan, until it did because I used it all the time, every day, hours upon hours. I loved it. Smarter now, it probably should have been replaced sooner. It is energy efficient. I miss having it so close to me as I sit along my day. A very nice comfort to have. Don't let it burn your skin, but it is very therapeutic to warm your skin at a certain distance as well. Pelonis you can improve upon this product. Bring this one back. Thank you.

This little guy packs a punch! Well-made, small but sturdy heater that has been a great buy for my little studio apartment. The "low" heat setting I have used has given out good heat, but not scorching; (I have yet to use the "high" setting). It warms the air well but the equipment is not hot to the touch. I also appreciate that it's compact and isn't as imposing as other heaters I've seen. This would be great for a guest room, bathroom or any room that you are in during the cold months. By the way- there is a built-in handle for easy carrying from room to room. Don't be surprised by it's small size, it's a good little heater. I highly recommend!

Blown away with this product at the price of $13. My unit did not emit any bad smell from the get go. I am using this to heat a living room / kitchen area in a condo and it is working wonderfully. With the dial set just under halfway (middle 'bar") it is keeping the area at a comfortable 72 while its 10 outside. This is with the unit on the lower wattage setting. The fan is still plenty audible but isn't distracting after it's been on for a minute or two. I've only had it a day. I just hope it lasts! That was my original 5 star review. Edited to 3. Thermostat seems to vary, the fan also makes a rattling noise. Only been used for a few days so far. Doubt this will last much longer. It's only $13, roughly the price of 2 bundles of wood. It's lasted longer than 2 nights so I have gotten my moneys worth.

Calienta perfectamente una habitación mediana, lo malo es que si tiene un alto consumo de energía pero en el funcionamiento es excelente tiene muy buena potencia que por el tamaño no imaginaba

El producto es bueno, y sirve para calentar habitaciones pequeñas.
