This book the pictures are mostly in black & white there are some randome pictures of people in Japan & a lot of Japanese women.this book is great for the pictures & any one who likes just looking at another photagraphers pictures I look at this book often & Highly Recommend it to any one who appreciates Unusual photos.

On initially leafing through this book on first receipt I must admit I did not get it at all.I was well aware of the reputation of Araki for both his prolific output and eclectic choice of subject matter - all life is here - but was rather nonplussed.Further inpections of the contents however started to reveal a lot more and without wishing to sound pretentious a deeper meaning to the work on show became evident.The secret to viewing these pictures is to understand that they come from a different culture to ours in the UK and relate to the unique history and social mores of Japanese society.Some effort required on the part of the "reader" but eventually you begin to see his way.

「非常に良い」との表記を信用して購入しましたが、表紙の端がめくれていて、全体に薄汚れていました。40ユーロの書籍を「非常に良い」として18,000円で売るのであれば、もう少し綺麗な状態の商品を売るべきです。

日本より海外で評価の高い日本人という存在を時々耳にするが、この人もそうかもしれない。写真家の天才アラーキーである。この写真集は海外で編集されたもので、アラーキーさんの仕事全般を俯瞰するような編集になっている。これ一冊見ればアラーキーさんの仕事の概要が把握できるので、便利といえば便利だ。しかしこれまでかなりたくさんアラーキーさんの作品を見てきた立場で言えば少々食い足りない気もする。彼の作品ならもっと良いものが他にもある。しかし大変良心的な編集であるし、見て損はないと思う。写真を志す人なら誰にでもお勧め。
