Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e Case, TopACE Ultra Thin Soft Gel TPU Silicone Case Cover Compatible for Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e 2019 Release (Matte Clear)

This case is not soft or silicone. It is a flexible plastic material that is not soft at all. It is very slippery and hard to hold onto. Not at all what it is listed as. Also the back is not clear as the picture shows. I am unable to use it since there is no grip to it when holding it whatsoever.Update: Added one more star as seller refunded since item is not as described.

Fits the s5e snuggly and creates a good lip that covers the sharp edges of the tablet front well. This is TPU and not soft and rubbery silicone. That means it's on the hard side but still flexible and light enough to feel good to hold and for easy insertion. The surface is smooth but very grippy, like most TPU. Good thickness for decent protection without being bulky and keeps its shape and doesn't sag. I don't know why I'm describing TPU to you. Maybe it's because some idiot reviewers don't know what the material is and give one star reviews. If you don't like TPU don't buy the case that says TPU.The power button is easy to access. The volume keys are rather stiff but that's not a bad thing as it prevents accidental changes. Cutouts aren't 100% centered but doesn't interfere with use. You can still access the pogo pins and the notches although I don't know how well an attachment would fare. The inside back has a textured finish which makes the back of the tablet translucent instead of completely clear. There's a good reason for this as clear cases get really nasty and ditty over time since they usually have gaps in the back to prevent bubbles forming, allowing dirt to lodge in. The textured translucent back still prevents bubbles, while minimizing excess space and reducing the appearance of dirt and grime.The main reason for me buying the case is because the s5e is way too thin and the front edge too sharp for me to hold comfortably for an extended period. Even though the tablet is technically very light, if you have no sizeable grippy surface to latch onto, it can feel very weighty and cumbersome. Ditto the small bezels which further reduces available surface area and causes lots of accidental touches. The rounded sides and lip of the case and the thicker profile significantly make the tablet easier to hold and there's very little additional weight added. It also eliminates he fear of scratching the back or sides and provides some drop protection on the front and back. The rigidity of the TPU in particular helps give the rather soft metal build of the s5e a more substantial feel in the hand. No more baby-ing the tablet. I can throw it around without too much fuss. It won't prevent bending if you happen to sit on it, but no thin and light case can.Oh and there's that thing about signal degradation and holding it wrong. I didn't get the case for that but it's good to know it helps reduce it. The s5e has a weak wifi signal regardless even if you don't hold it at all. The whole thinness race has gone way beyond practical for years now.

I'm not a big fan of heavy covers and this was the Goldilocks Zone of all covers. It just covers the back so if you want an allover cover, this is not for you. The seller was fast and delivered in only 2 days. I LOVE the cover and will definitely buy from StarPlayer again. Definitelly recommend both the seller AND the product.

Currently there are not many options for accessories for this Samsung tablet. The case technically does what it says. Ultra this means not very sturdy however.Side note, can still fit in the tablet holder with this on. Hoping to find a hybrid case for better protection.
