Excellent starter pod
These hold moisture really well and have great germination time. Great value for the money if your starting indoors with limited space. Good size!

Easy to use - probably needed the smaller size for the tray I bought
These are so nice and easy to use. I ordered the 42mm and probably needed the smaller size for the Burpee tray I ordered, but was still able to use these - just squished them in a bit. Seeds are already sprouting in them after less than a week.

Not good
I've used Jiffy Peat pellets many many times. But something wasn't right with these. Every seed i put in them didn't sprout for a month. Different veggies and flowers. I tossed them, probably had a pre-emergent herbicide on them.

Makes transplanting easy
The media could not be loaded. Enjoying the savings from buying so many pots for the amount of presprouting I'm doing this year.Also helps with transplanting plants that have delicate taproots.Using Boiling hot water will have them ready in minutes.Also, after reading some of the bad reviews, I feel better about hot water killing anything that may be introduced into my other sterile bio matter.If I have any other problems with questionable soil, I will bake it instead of waste it.
