Great for practice and casual game
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Yonex is the best, this one is for speed practice, but fun for casual friendly game. I could feel the difference compared to plastics one and also quite good compared to feathered one. Cruelty free as well.Durability:It’s way way better than those cheap free ones I got with my badminton set. Sturdy really lasts longer.Design:Speedy and sturdyColor:Color is good bright enough to create contrast with background if used for outdoor setup, like trees, etcWeight:Light, super light

great practice birdies
buying my 2nd batch of these birdies, the first tube lasted a year and were great to play with. they fly well and are very durable, each lasting many practice sessions. great value!

Love these birdies!! They catch great air!!
So I play badminton with my young nephews and they are not all that coordinated just yet due to their ages and these birdies are great for that. They catch a good amount of air and stay in the air longer, therefore giving them more of an opportunity to actually connect with the birdie in the air. I like how they fly. Very sturdy design. None have yet to break or fray or degrade in any way and we play with them daily. Great product!! =)

Durable but slow compared to Wilson
I'll start off by saying that I usually buy Wilson Championship birdies. Since it was winter, I wasn't able to find any in the stores and Amazon didn't carry them either so I decided to give Yonex a try. Here are the pro's and con's of both Yonex and how it compares to the WilsonPros:Durable - My badminton matches get quite intense with very hard hitting and these last quite a few games before tearing. They seem to last a bit longer than the Wilson ones, so point goes to Yonex.Price - When I bought these, they were the only ones I could find and at the normal retail price. Since both retail for the same amount I can't give this to either. It seems to be easier to find the Yonex online though.Cons:Speed - I like my birdies fast and it seems like the Medium speed Wilson are faster and go further than the Yonex Medium Speed. I'd give the point to Wilson on this one.Overall it comes down to speed and durability. I like the durability of Yonex, but if I had to choose I would get the Wilson birdies.

Balanced, Accurate and Long Lasting.
I've been playing badminton for several years now and have played with both Feather and Nylon shuttles from various makes including Yonex. Comparing Yonex 300, 350 Nylon shuttles to 2000 I can tell the difference these 2000 shuttles are much more balanced and are accurate. The fact that these are long lasting shuttles will give you most for your buck.I found these shuttles to be more accurate than the feather shuttles and the speed was just about right and very near to feather shuttles, these shuttles are quite light when compared to feather shuttles but the sturdy and quality cork keeps them in right place.A must buy for beginners, club players and I know several professionals use these shuttles too.

Best of the nylon shuttles
The Yonex Mavis 2000 nylon shuttles are the best Yonex or any other manufacturer of nylon shuttles have that are closest in resembling a feather shuttle. Note that you will still find differences on how the nylon shuttles differs from a duck or goose feather. If you want durability, you want nylon. Feathers just are not durable, plain and simple. And if you want a nylon that is "like" a feather, you want the 2000. The 2000 flies closest to the feathers and are more durable than feathers.I've played with feathers and nylons, good and poor feathers, good and poor nylons/plastic shuttles. What it comes down to is this...if you are paying, I prefer feather. If I am paying, I prefer the 2000. So...who's paying? Please click YES if my review have been helpful to you, it will encourage me to continue writing and updating my reviews, and leave a comment if you have any questions, I will be more than happy to answer if I can be of help.
