CrossEdge Formula Red Selectip Rollerball Pen

I carry this pen in my pocket and it's not only a beautiful design, it writes smooth as glass. Highly recommended!

This is my favorite "fancy" pen to write with. I take it with me everywhere: home, work, vacay, you name it. The pen was well-packaged and came in a beautiful box. It looks very nice and well-made. I like the slide-to-open mechanism. The pen writes really smoothly. It had never leaked or gave me any issue. It came with black ink. When finished, I'll use blue refills. I purchased this pen to replace the very same model I had for years, but lost a few months ago. The old one I bought was over $50.00, so I was glad to get this one at a little over $30.00.

Is a great pen, writes perfectly and very smoothly. The only thing I dislike is how it pops out of my shirt pocket due to it`s design. I thing Cross should have made a longer space underneath the clip so the pen didnt stcik out as much, it does not look elegant.

This is the only pen I use, and the only pen I buy as gifts. Most other reviews cover almost all the positives, there is one feature this pen has that not only don't other people mention, but isn't in the description or advertisement by Cross here on Amazon. Namely, that the pocket clip is spring/hinged loaded, and by pushing on the top part of the clip, the bottom opens up almost like an alligator clip. This means that it's beyond easy to secure it in a pocket, organizer, or like I do, in between the buttons of my button down shirt.I've left this pen at home by accident from time to time, and have used another Cross pen that day (one that doesn't have this clip), or other "nice" pens, and it's then that I realized how much I just have to have that hinged pocket clip. It's a game changer, ESPECIALLY if you're someone who uses his pen a lot at intervals throughout the day, and find yourself putting it away for a few minutes before needing it againI can't believe more high end pens don't do this, or that Cross hasn't incorporated this into other pens in their line.As far as the pen itself, it's been covered pretty well by others. It writes great, it is customizable with ink and tip, and it looks fantastic.Pro tip though. If you get this pen and hand it to someone else to use while it's closed, I guarantee that person will twist the hell out of it trying to open it not realizing it's a pull open pen. The pen has held up under multiple people doing this, including a few times they really tried cranking on it, but continuous "abuse" like this will loosen up the open mechanism a bit, making it a little shaky and not as solid.Side note....this pen is on the medium/large size, which is perfect for me as I have big hands and long fingers, but I could see this being a bit large to hold comfortably for those with smaller hands.All in all, this is the best pen I've ever used

The ink flows really nice and it feels really smooth. This is the smoothest writing pen I have (but ok...I do not have many pens).It is lighter than I expected, but does feel good in the hand. Easy to open and close. I am not have any of the "sticking" problems I read about in the reviews.Nice quality, except for the outer shell. It is made of plastic and it *really* feels like plastic. If the outer shell were some sort of metal I (even at a higher price point) would give the pen five stars. Even a little texture would have helped a lot here.

I find it interesting and functional!I enjoy using it!It’s a Cross Edge!I want to purchase another Edge— Sonic Titanium, when I find it at the price, I’m willing to pay! Had one at acceptable price, but when I decided to buy, it wouldn’t show in my cart! Disappointed!!

The Cross Edge Gel Pen is, by far, my most favorite writing instrument. I’ve used the Parker and Mont Blanc pens but found they did not provided the writing excellence of the Cross Legend. The large barrel design makes writing easier, especial for those of us who are 60+ years of age. I keep three of these pens in my Study..

I bought this pen for use at a book signing, and I couldn't be happier. Well, I suppose I'd actually be happier if more people had showed up for my book signing, but that's beside the point. This pen doesn't just rock, it sets the stage on fire during a half-hour drum solo that features a flyover by Stealth bombers piloted by the Rolling Stones, who then join the pen in trashing the hotel and shutting down two interstates with a massive six-day rolling party.Seriously. The Cross rollarball is a really good product not matter what pen u refull it with. This design i love be cause its more compact great idea for Every day carry. The colour is lovely no matter what colour u choose...Id recommend this for sumone lookin for an edc pen n dont want it too big.The price seems fair considering the normal cost for the refill n the pen material seems classy. Everything about this is likeable...

Beautiful blue coloured pen. Easy to use a great present

The matt black colour adds a touch of elegance to an already perfect design. Build quality is perfect and the weight is perfectly balanced in the hand. The price is slightly high but this pen delivers value. Recommended if you like fine writing instruments!
