The Declaration of You!: How to Find It, Own It and Shout It From the Rooftops

I first discovered Michelle Ward on CreativeLive.com and (virtually) "attended" her class. I was TRULY impressed & inspired by her creative approach to reuniting you with what you innately know to be your talents & passions, ... and ultimately, your purpose in life. Since I couldn't afford to purchase the class on CreativeLive, I decided to get the book instead. It's good & guides you along, (but I still have to say the live class was so much richer.) Still, the book challenges you to think through & get in touch with your dormant goals (if you're one, like me, who got stuck along the way), and is worth working through if you need some coaching & support. Because the live class was SO effectual (& because I'm not too fond of the artwork & slick pages make them difficult to write on), I gave the book 4 stars out of 5. Thank you, Michelle! LOVE LOVE LOVE Michelle Ward. I saw her for the first time on a @CreativeLive online class. I loved the class so much, even though I caught the end of it, I ran and ordered the class and bought this book!In today's world with all the anger and bickering, blaming and shaming... It's VERY important to feel good about yourself, feel hopeful and value your own creativity, individualism and uniqueness and to know how to use that for personal or business. Life should be fun! I can't say enough good about The Declaration of You! If you are a person who loves thinking things through and filling in little organizational quizzes, You will love this book. The exercises make you think deeply about what makes your creative life tick. I read it through, then went back and began answering the questions. It's a beautiful book full of color and art making it a good dose of eye candy as well. I highly recommend it!

I was excited to get this book but now wish I hadn't spent my money on it. When reading books like this I wonder how practical it really is. Do people really do this stuff? I often wonder when reading books like this and blogs if these people live in the real world. Are they in debt up to their eyeballs. I would have loved to see how the authors answered all the questions and how it worked for them. I guess I want more of a "this is exactly what I did to get where I am" other than lala land type of exercises.

I've been reading pieces and pages of this activity book, and I have enjoyed it so far. Its not really a "book", its more of a guide of stories, activities, and ideas.

Mt daughter loved it and has given her more motivation. Really proud at how positive she responded to this book.

This was a fun workbook. I looked forward to playing in it everyday.
