With 2018 being the year of every smartphone having a fingerprint sensor, it only makes sense for the technology to become cheaper and be placed in cheaper technologies like padlocks. This is certainly the first consumer fingerprint padlock so it was a great opportunity to try this product.Setup was very easy. The instructions included a quick guide which was printed in small text and may be difficult for some to read. There are lots of pictures to show how you setup your fingerprint so it’s designed for anyone to use. Included is a very short USB C as this is how you charge it. For once an accessory uses a USB C port so it’s great to see some products are catching up with the new method for charging.In terms of performance, it worked eight out of ten times. When it didn’t work, the fingerprint sensor took around ten attempts to get it working. That being said, when it does work it’s great. Overall I would recommend this for those that are willing to spend that extra money for a little bit of convenience. It certainly isn’t a necessary product as you can buy normal number padlocks very cheaply.  No need for a key again! A great padlock that uses your fingerprint to unlock!The built quality is good and it feels very sturdy too!Once you've charged this up using the supplied cable you're good to go.Set the admin fingerprint then you can add up to 10 other fingerprints - this can be your other fingers or those of other people who are going to use it.I use this for my gym locker so i don't have to carry a key around with me, it works well.The unlock is pretty fast too - see my little video showing how quickly it unlocks.. quicker than my old key one!Well recommended.

Traveled thinking it had set for lock, but noticed on my return it wasn't .. thinking of retuning this item as it was very expensive to buy for not to work!

This item that i had wasnt good as i had to get someone to cut it of as it wouldnt open, i thought maybe thats y its so cheap anc i wouldnt advise anyone to buy it.

the lock only worked 20% of the time, even through I just set my finger prints as a user not 2 mins ago, very poor quality and made from cheap plastic

Great idea, keys are a thing of the past with this handy little lock.I found the instructions were simple and easy to read. Initially, anyone can open the lock using your thumbprint, and then all you have to do is set up the 'admin' lock by holding your thumb (or finger) against the sensor 10 times. Once it has recognised your print, you can open the lock with ease.You can add 10 different prints, so handy for families.Overall, I really like this product and would recommend. I have no complaints.
