The Brauler looks well made, does what it is intended to do. But if you tighten the cap too tight good luck getting it open by yourself after the gas pressure builds. You have to tighten it just snug enough to hold the pressure and still be able to remove the cap. I don't have this problem with other screw type caps. If it had a flip top cap would rate it a 5 star.

If you like the product why give it 1 star because of where it was made? It is manufactured in China but designed and operated in the USA - like pretty much every other product out there!I had several growlers over the years that either leaked, lost carbonation or were impossible to keep sanitary.Finally got this Brauler and it is airtight and dishwasher safe (it has wide neck so it's just like washing a glass). The freshcap system I've only had to use a couple of times, but once was after the brauler was in the fridge for a while (about 3 weeks) and it was good as fresh poured pint.Comes with it's own sleeve/strap so easy to lug around (it's a lot lighter than it looks).

Finally a growler that holds carbonation! No more flat beer from my local brewery. Easy to clean. I get comments everywhere I go. Extremely happy with the design and ease of use.
