the design, fit and fnisinsh of these banana clips is perfect. starting from ease of attaching it to your wires to the fit while plugging them into the speaker and AVR terminals which is neither too snug, nor too loose. However, having attached them to both ends of my speaker wires and on playing music and movies through them, there is a very perceivable drop in sound quality. the sensitivity of the speaker has reduced which is in itself evident of transmission loss. this also has an adverse affect on the frequency range and response of the speakers while reproducing sound which now sounds muffled compared to when the speakers were connected through bare wires. I'm planning to get rid off them as the level of dip in sound quality is not worth the otherwise terrific ease of convenience that these banana plugs offer. for reference, i am running a pair of KEF Q350's for the front channels (on Sound Foundations Nemesis stands), a Q-Acoustics Concept Centre Channel and a pair of Bostons Acoustics A26's driven through a Marantz SR6013 AVR and a Marantz PM6006(as a power amp for the KEF Q350s), so the system is transparent enough to easily convey any shortfall in whichever component is introduced into the setup. Update 2020 : decided to reinstall them after all. The convenience over having to screw in bare wires clinched it. I just switched to better wires (Mogami Neglex and QED QX16) so the shortcoming may have been in the amazonbasics wire (or my head; i may very well have been imagining loss os sensitivity) - i think a pink noise test with a spectrometer with the volume knob at a constant position is in order to confirm my suspicions.

Bought 12 pairs for use in my home theater setup. Very high quality, short and easy to use. Use thicker wires (14 or 12 AWG) for best fit. The wire needs to be stripped by about 1/5th of an inch and bent upside down inside the bottom portion. The top part (banana plug) then screws on top and ensures tight fit. This is where using thick wire helps to keep connection tight and snug. There is even a rubber gasket to keep the screw tight. The size is small and easy to work with. The actual banana plug even rotates to keep the wire strain off the binding post on your receiver. If I had to pick a negative point, the red colouring of positive terminal can be more bright reddish in colour. No issue with the build quality or ease of use. This is the best banana plug you can get in India.

The connectors are really great. They are very well constructed and feel premium. I have used 16 pieces in total and have a zero defect experience. The threads were very smooth. The connectors are a perfect fit in both the AVR and the speaker ends. Comparable connectors from other brands are 1.5 to 2 times the price, making these great VFM.

Excellent quality speaker plugs, even we dont have enough options in India. These plugs are one of best deadbolt banana plugs. Feels premium and it has it's own weight even though it is smaller in size. Must buy if you are planning for your home entertainment upgrade.

Really a great product. I used it in my magnet planar speakers and hooked up to a Cambridge Audio Amp. Perfectly designed and the cables don’t need any soldering and fits snugly. Great pricing

First of all, thanks to the Delivery Guys. As usual, my Amazon delivery was before time. I tried connecting bare wires and with plugs in succession 4-5 times. Played some movies and songs. There was loss in sound quality after connecting plugs. I use Amazon basic cables. The plugs are not at all useful for me. Will use it later when I will change the cables.

For speakers these are k.for onkiyo av receiver these are not suitable.unable to insert in jacks.

When I rewired my speakers, I used these. They work well, but they are rather loose. However they do not touch one another. So no problem there. They are super easy to use, change, etc. Recommended!

Saw these recommended on an AV forum, and when HiFi geeks recommend something, they're usually not wrong. You get plenty in the box, and they are surprisingly heavy and well constructed. Quite easy to connect to 2.5mm2 cable, although you might struggle with wider cables like 4mm2 as the entry is quite small. Once connected up they plug into the usual speaker or amp connection solidly and securely. I like that they have a reasonably clear red and black colour band that can be seen from above, to identify positive and negative cables easily. I could say that they deliver a clear, precise, and tight sound to the speaker but, at best, that is just my own ears telling me well done for my purchase. Obviously, there are much more expensive banana plugs out there, made of gold plated unicorn horn, and if that floats your boat, go for it. But these are great value, well made connectors that just get on with the job and don't get in the way of the signal pathway. Recommended.
