When we first purchased this strap, it was to replace a similar strap a friend lended to us. Our dog tends to lurch and pull us on long walks, so the “give” that comes with this strap is quite awesome.That being said, we were shocked when this strap’s elastic inner cable ripped after less than one year. While the stitched cover remains intact, the “give” of the elastic is gone and renders the entire leash useless.I have to say I am very disappointed, and would not recommend this leash to anyone with a dog that pulls or lurches.Update: (May 2019): I made an attempt to reach out to the customer service section of Rok Straps directly and was thoroughly surprised. The customer service team —no questions asked — asked for my address and immediately offered to send a replacement strap. That is customer service!

My dog used to drag me all over the neighborhood. My arm ached when we were finished with even a short walk. This leash has greatly reduced pulling and soreness. Definitely reduces my frustration level.

I love this leash. The bungee cord really does work to absorb the tension whenever my beagle decides to bolt. It is well made. The stitching is of high quality and the hardware is made of top quality material. I know this leash would last for a very long time. Highly recommended.

Durable and I like the elasticity of it. There’s also a handle/strap lower down to keep my pup closer at times (like walking on a crowded sidewalk, etc)

I bought this and the coupler at the Lake Tahoe market near the Casino when we visited a few summers ago, and this leash and the coupler have lasted LIKE NEW with my two lab pit mixes 60lbs and 120lbs and now my 30 lb pit bull! This is a great buy!!! I also get a lot of compliments!
