Had my doubts about this matt because I couldn't see it working as stated but I was wrong. The matt is made of a heavy duty black felt material and comes with an inflatable tube, velcro/elastic straps and a storage sleeve/bag. Bought it in Jan 2024 because we have a cat who gets into things and we usually have a puzzle going on all the time on our dining room table. It is very easy to use. Some minor issues we have found with it is, sometimes the puzzle will disconnect in a few places if your borders are only 1 tile wide when you roll it up. The puzzle will creep on you a little every time you roll it up so if you have the puzzle positioned at one end it will end up moving to the other end over time. We fix this by rolling it from a different end each time so the puzzle stays in the middle of the matt. Also, the felt really grips the puzzle pieces making it difficult to slide the puzzle into a new position if you need to move it for some reason. None of these issues are a deal breaker to us. We love this matt and as long as the inflatable tube holds up I see us using it for years to come. I would buy again and I would recommend it to friends & family.

Update: I have now used the full kit to roll up a completed puzzle and it really works! The puzzle was completely intact after rolling it up using the felt mat, inflatable tube, elastic straps and the drawstring bag. I only did so for a short period to test if it actually worked so I’m not sure if you could store a puzzle like that for a long period of time. I did have one issue with the inflatable tube— the hole where you put your lips to blow up the tube was completely sealed shut. I used a metal skewer to poke a hole in it and it worked after that. This issue did give the impression that the product is not high quality so I am keeping the review at 4 stars but it was fully functional after modifying it myself. Previous review: I haven’t actually tried to roll up a puzzle in this. The mat is pretty convenient to use if you need to move an in progress puzzle between locations, assuming you have two people to hold opposite sides. Honestly though, if you just get a large piece of thick felt you can accomplish the same thing.

I love this product. In the past I had to use large cardboards to be able to manage puzzles in progress without taking them apart for storage. And if you had children around, it was almost guaranteed I would end up loosing a piece if I did not moved it into a safe area. This Mat is just great. In a few seconds I just roll the puzzle in its current state and store it easily anywhere safe in the house.

My son is getting a lot of use out of it. He adds the mat to the end of his other mat for linger puzzles. Very easy to use and secure.

It's okay and works as described. It is very flimsy and it ruins your puzzle pieces when you roll it up. It curves and bends the pieces up against the inflatable log. It's good in a pinch but I would spend the extra money on a better quality puzzle mat.

I purchased this based on the reviews, which made me believe this would be perfect for my needs. Goodness, does it fall short. First, the mat is just a large piece of felt that is folded for packaging. It will not lay flat on its own, which means the puzzle doesn't lay flat and depending on the durability of pieces, the puzzle starts falling apart while putting it together. This is a kit to make an area designated for putting together puzzles - but hinders the process of putting the puzzle together. Try to roll up the puzzle and pieces just start disconnecting, causing a mess. Why? Because it is felt, flimsy, and not ideal for a puzzle base. I've already purchased another one, twice the price, but it has a non-slip back and is NOT felt. Another issue with the felt is the lack of the non-slip back. One wrong move, and the entire piece of felt is moving and again, causes the puzzle to come apart - due to the fold lines of the felt. Real junk purchase, and you really do get what you pay for (and for this, I think I still paid way too much for this felt kit).

Excellent. Had to buy a bigger jigsaw mat as my granddaughter bought me a 13.5 in x 28.5 in jigsaw and it would not fit on my 1000 mat. Problem I had was a surface to put it on. However managed and am now happily working on my present jigsaw. Delivery excellent and not expensive.
