I’ve been dealing with shin splints from running for months. I had to take time off; kept my legs iced and elevated, and I used a lot of Ibuprofen. After months of resting, I would try to run, but each time, the pain would return. I couldn’t even use the elliptical machine. I was frustrated beyond description. I seldom visit a doctor - even the thought that I might have to call, created anxiety. Thankfully, I checked out Run Forever. After reading the reviews, I figured it would be cheaper (and less complicated than a doctor visit,) so I ordered the calf sleeves. They arrived last week. I’ve been running ever since! As I sit here and type, I have NO PAIN! I don’t know what will happen when I increase my time and miles but for now, I’m a happier camper.Size: I am a 63 year old female who is 5’6” tall and a bit overweight (but muscular for my age). My calf measured 14 inches so I ordered a size large. Fit and comfort is subjective, however, I didn’t think the large provided enough compression.Customer service: If I could, I would invest financially into this company based on their care and concern for their customers! I sent email to inquire about the fit. The representative informed me that for shin splints, I probably would be better off with a medium. She sent me a new pair that arrived days later! I am blown away and very grateful. I’ve told a few people about this company. Other businesses should pay attention.. treat people right and you’ll have them for life.

The only material that truly provides compression (exactly what it says it does), never loosing that ability’s either. These are the ONLY socks and sleeves on Amazon (and I’ve tried every brand because that’s what you do once your doctor tells you that you will spend the rest of your life wearing compression socks). I cannot walk long without them so I wear them 24/7 ☹️,Sleeping in them every night). The only brand that doesn’t tear or fall apart. I don’t know what my life would be like without Run Forever and I am not being compensated in anyway for saying this. My calf is 12” I’m 37yrs old with long legs and an 8.5M shoe size. My foot won’t fit into Ugg boots or running shoes without these, if that gives you an idea of how effective they are (for me). I went 5yr before a doctor actually believed me when I said something was vascular wrong with my legs. It was too late. I was left with permanent damage in my veins from superficial blood clots in both legs, and undiagnosed May Thurners syndrome. I know that stents in my Iliac veins and those don’t come with valves. So, for me, blood leaves my leg to return to my heart and it refluxes right back down. It’s a very painful life outside of Run Forever socks and sleeves. I don’t wish this life upon anyone! So, if you have vascular disease like me, do yourself a favor, try Run Forever. Compare them to all the other top selling ineffective brands on Amazon. Through personal experience, I will tell you that all brands on Amazon sound and look appealing. All of the top selling brands ripped at the ankle DAY ONE while putting them on (and remember, I have bird legs). The material of these brands didn’t give me compression like Run Forever, which can be very dangerous for me because I can develop blood clots without the 20/30 compression. Simply put, all other brands and even the medical grade $120 socks from my vascular doctor’s office didn’t compare to Run Forever. I own 16 pairs. FYI, ever 3mths my doctors recommends me getting new ones. It’s been over a year I have not had to replace any of my Run Forever socks/sleeves. They have held compression. Ps. I wash and dry mine with the rest of my laundry. I don’t use fabric softener though. Hope this helps. Prayers for all you who walk my walk. It sucks!

Honestly, if I could give it a hundred stars I would. I have severely nerve-damaged lower legs and arms from my long battle with cancer. Walking for me has become an exercise in extreme pain. When I get up from sitting, I can barely stand on my legs - particularly the left one- from the pain and swelling involved. I've been switched to Methadone to try and keep up with the mind-shattering pain - it's that bad. And even that doesn't really do much for the pain.But these...wonderous items- DID!They really provide the exact amount of compression without being constrictive. They really live up to the company's claim that you won't be able to tell they are on your legs. The sleeves greatly reduce the swelling and discomfort associated with my nerve damage. When I get up now to walk - and when I'm walking around during errands- I no longer 'mince' my steps because of the swelling and such. Yes. My legs still hurt, but they are 15000 percent more functional then they were before trying the sleeves.So, whether you need them for sports, or if you are like me, and need to find something to help with daily pain and swelling, you SIMPLY CANNOT DO WRONG by spending a few dollars and buying these sleeves.And I know that there are hundreds of companies to choose from to order these sleeves, but I humbly suggest sticking with this company. They personally followed up my purchase, NOT to ask for a good review, but simply to make sure I had no questions or concerns or issues with the sleeves. They even responded immediately to my email telling them I was in love with their product. They genuinely seem to care about APPRECIATING the customer and not just providing 'service.' It's near impossible to find this kind of appreciation in the cyber-retail world.

My calves have been very tight for some time and no matter how much stretching I did I could never get them from being so tight. This was causing pain into my heal and foot. I have been wearing these compression sleeves all day and night since I received them (for about 1 week now) and the tightness in my calves is almost non-existent now. I no longer have the pain going into my heal and foot. These really have been a life saver. I've also had restless leg syndrome, which my wife said was really bad when I slept. Since wearing these all night I have not had restless legs.

Comfort wise this feels pretty much like a football sock.... so maybe save a few quid and buy a football sock.Admittedly I bought this with the intension of applying some form of compression to a lightly strained calf and I don't think this provides enough compression to be considered for that use.Literally doubling up a football sock feels the same.Was I expecting voodoo floss band level of compression? No.I will wear these during my next cardio session but I'm not expecting anything from this.

Bought a set of compression sleeves as I suffer badly from shin splints during and after hill walking. Pain can last for days at a time. After purchasing these sleeves I couldn't live without them. I have absolutely no pain at all during and after! Fantastic support. Easy to put on and are very comfortable, hardly know your wearing them! Would defonately purchase again

I am writing this review after three weeks of using these. These are the best for runners, I had shin splints and wanted to increase my stamina and hit 10km in 40 mins.I can run 8km in 40 mins now and planning to buy another pair.I’m sure you’ll like it if you are in long running game :)

I suffer with shin splints. These socks offer support and help to ease the pain. Good thick socks. The toe seams aren’t too thick and there was no rubbing.

Helps hold my calfs together on runs. I am getting on a bit and I wouldnt run without these now. Surprised at how much difference they make. Not a fad!
