This is identical battery that came with my Roomba 880
I paid $450 for my Roomba 7 years ago but when the battery finally depleted, I bought a new Roomba for $150 but it was not as good as the one I have to my surprise. I returned it after a week. Then, I was debating on cheaper generic batteries but decided against it - for the fear of overheating, battery leakage, and fire hazard.I received this yesterday and charged it overnight. As expected, I had to re-do the cleaning schedule on my Roomba due to having a new battery. Easy install, quick setup redo. I did a test run this morning and the battery lasted 1 hour and 50 minutes before it needs to be recharged. My Roomba is functioning as if it’s new. So far so good!This battery is identical to the battery that came with my Roomba. For $100 battery price point, the so the hope is that it will last just as long as the original.

Was an authentic Roomba replacement battery, sometimes the sellers fool you, but this was exactly what I ordered!

Decent replacement
Put battery in and then it wouldnt work. Continues to mess with it and found issues with the contacts for charging. Battery is a solid replacement though

Great Battery
We bought an aftermarket battery, it did not perform very well at all, would run for a little while and then just die right where it was. We purchased this battery and it cleans a 500 sq ft room with power to spare and once it gets weak it gives the unit time to find it's way back to the station. Very Happy.

My Roomba Works Again!
My older Roomba, model 595, stopped working. In the past, I replaced the battery with a less-expensive off-brand battery, the first time with long-lasting results, the second time not so much (same brand). So I decided to buy the OEM battery this time. It worked like a charm. "Rosie" Roomba is working just fine again. I can't speak for battery life or longevity at this time, but will edit this review if it falls short.
