Truly 10" long
The skewers are not too thin and they're truly 10" long as described. I used them to make a knife block/holder. I packed the skewers tight in a tall wide and straight vase. It can hold more than 14 knives (one of them is a cleaver) without them touching each other. It saves much counter space.

Excellent Quality for food and beverage use
We purchased these for our bloody mary drinks. Adding on peppers, olives. They look nicer that the thinner bamboo sticks. These are shorter but are stronger. We also use these for finger foods on our deck for guests. They work out really great and are environmentally best overall from plastic goods.
