Yes there are printed instructions included in the kit. Time-Sert has a short video with the same tools but using different copper plated inserts the thread repair operation is the same as the taper seat repair which uses the silver plated insert in this kit 4412E-187. http://www.timesert.com/html/howtosp.html

I used this to repair stripped out spark plug hole on my 2004 chevy suburban (5.3L) Had to remove heat shield from exhaust manifold but was able to leave head and manifold on.
