This was my first time buying an M.2 enclosure, and I’m really glad I went with this one. Build quality is solid — the aluminum body feels sturdy, not cheap or flimsy. Setup took less than five minutes. I installed a 1TB NVMe drive I had lying around, plugged it in, and it was instantly recognized on both my Windows PC and MacBook.Tested speeds over USB 3.2 Gen 2 and they were right in line with what I expected — fast enough for backups, media editing, and even bootable OS installs. I also appreciate that it supports both NVMe and SATA, which gives me flexibility for older drives.If you’re looking for a no-nonsense, well-built enclosure that just works, this is it. First time buying from SSK and I’d definitely consider their products again.

Super easy to use. Also came with lil screws + a screwdriver to lock the SSD in. Works well with Windows and my media player box. Came with a couple short cables. No complaints at all, works how I expected. Even came with a heat distribution pad to keep the SSD cool.

Works like described, fast transfer of data with the right hardware and connections. Does get warm but not to hot to touch

Good enclosure. Install is tight!! needs to be for thermals of SSD board. So no surprise.added board and it almost just worked. Eventually I sorted out that the USB cables (both the USB-C - USB-C and the USB-C to USB-A) were bad. Not totally bad but caused a lot of disconnect or data fails. I replaced with a known good high performance cable and everything works reliably. If I didn't have to sort that out (tooks 2 days to identify and correct root cause) I would have rated 5.

The device arrived when promised, fit my ssd device like a glove and through the usb cables (both a & c were) supplied, quickly allowed me to see the files that nearly filled my 500 meg drive to the brink of overflowing. It even looks good doing its job. The only change I'd recommend would be to offer them in different colors to quickly differentiate multiple devices as needed. THX for a well designed product that works as promised!

Transfers are fast and reliable, and it fully supports UASP and TRIM for optimal SSD performance.If I had to point out one minor thing, it’s that the enclosure can get a little warm during heavy transfers, but that’s to be expected with metal housing — and it’s doing its job dissipating heat.Overall, this is an excellent enclosure that’s well worth the price. Perfect for backups, cloning, or just giving new life to an extra SSD!

I've got my drive installed and it is working fine. I like the design.My only caution is that the assembly was challenging for my senior citizen vision and manual dexterity. So, depending on your own abilities some patience may be called for. I did appreciate the extra screws and the magnetized screwdriver in the kit.
