Cannot get to drop swr on the channels its a basicly junk antenna. Def not as described

Good performance
I put this on a J-pole on my roof. About 25 ft up. SWR is never higher than a 1.2 across the band. It’s held up to 40 mph winds with no issue. Not sure if it’s my area or just the conditions but I do get a lot of static, S9 at times, with the lowest a S2 . I do need to run a copper ground and that should take care of it, or at least make it manageable. I’ve talked 30 miles locally with a bit of power and good conditions. I get good reports with many saying “I’m loud and proud” with this antenna, a small HD burner, and peaked Galaxy DX 959. I still haven’t made a DX contact yet.I chose this antenna because my wife doesn’t want a huge antenna on the roof or a tower set up, price, and the reputation Sirio has. I didn’t expect the world out of this, but I am happy with it. I also have a horizontal 1/2 wave dipole in my attic for DX which has worked well for that, but zero local talk. Getting some local talk was my main reason for setting up a vertical antenna, and in my eyes this has delivered, and should be even better once I get some grounding done to lower the occasional static build up.

Do not buy. Etremely flimsy
Aweful quality.. do not purchase this. It did not even last 1 month outside and we had the warmest winter ever with winds barely reaching 15kph. the thing bent at the base, it is now pointing at the ground. I have never seen such a cheap antenna. Get an solarcon a99 instead. Much better quality and only 15$ extra.

This is a good antenna. Compact and light design. I live in an area where I have to raise and lower the antenna due to lightning and the light package of this antenna is perfect for my needs. With a little tweaking you can get a good SWR.Above that the seller is excellent. They are courteous and quick acting and really know customer service, if anything goes wrong they make it right very quickly. There are other places to buy this antenna but this is the seller to go with!
