It works!
I have several powered subwoofers from the big names and stumbled across a Yamaha Sub on eBay..... had local P/U so I jumped on it knowing it did not have a x-over control and the frequency range was 28Hz to 200Hz. Ok, but knowing this range without control would probably be "boomy". It was, as expected! Started looking for a x-over and have had previous experience with Rolls so I took a chance and I have to admit, I think it is the most musical sub I own with the x-over set at 80Hz. For the details, no change in audio signal through pass-through connection, no hum or noise. No more boomy, muddy sound. Indvidual deep frequencies are clear and tight. BTW, the reason the Yamaha does not have a built in x-over is because it was designed to be used with a AVR with LFE control so they expected you to handle the x-over with the receiver. The SX95 works exactly as advertised and gives continuous variable control. If I may suggest, hook it up from source to x-over then connect you main speakers through the pass through. Phase works properly as does the stereo/mono switch. Highly recommended and it arrived early.

2nd DEVICE {replaced a, uhh---previous Return🙃🤨?}. . .
9/16/2024 1742 Hours EGMT ...and Wow😃🤪, what a difference an actually "NEW" Device makes👏🏿👏🏿! Didn't initially know, nor initially suspect the first one was used (& severely abused) & returned by someone until NOTHING worked, which under suddenly close scrutiny, I saw one of the THICK-Knobs was split down the middle😒. BUT Amazon replaced it, & THIS one is NEW, slightly heavier feeling, VERY-sturdy, with white highlight-indicators on the Knobs, and most IMPORTANTLY, it WORKS (during real-Time dynamic changes)👍🏿. This ROLLS SX95 Stereo Subwoofer Crossover/Filter, 12V Auxiliary Power Outlet is a physically heavy-weighted device, that supports up to 2 Subwoofers simultaneously---providing the flexibility of "Mono", "Pass-Thru", or "Stereo" hook-up. It comes with its-own Power Supply, & the only downside I've noticed is the skimpy Operational Instructions🙄. This is a solidly-built device, if it works & lasts as well as it feels, it should last a VERY-long time😉! GBJ😎

Top Notch Premium Quality Electronic Device
This sweet little piece is worth every single penny of the $100 I paid for it! I did give up trying to pull this thing apart in order to inspect the internals, as it is very well put together and resists seperation, but judging solely by the sound quality that it produces, it is glaringly obvious that this is a very high end piece of electronic equipment! Sounding ever bit and equally as good as the elite calibre Zapco ASP-Q1 which it did replace (went to the car, as EQ duties are not needed in the home system afterall). It's always nice, the feeling of satisfaction and contentment that follows the purchase of a USA made piece of gear that sounds as awesome as this crossover does!

Almost excellent -- a few things need added/improved
Does exactly what you need it to do -- subwoofer crossover, phase buttons. However: GOOD - Phase correction - Stereo and/or Mono (very important) - Distortion free - Not "brainy" -- old school The NOT SO GOOD - No power on/off button? - SUB Volume "gain" is adequate, but needs MORE GAIN -- like double (20 dB vs 10 dB) BOTTOM LINE - Worth the money, clean sounding, old school design (quality), and perfect for small scale digital chip amp audio fun. If you need a higher end crossover, you'll have to go with 19" rack mount pro-gear and pay 2-3x as much -- this one is made for quality, size, and function but needs better gain

Worthwhile and good value, if it is what you need.
Most people will never need anything like this, but if you require an inexpensive and compact, seemingly sturdy and well built plus easy to figure out active crossover, this is it. As far as I can hear, it neither adds nor does it subtract from the high pass signal. The LF is easily configurable, with plenty of options available. Instructions are less than minimal--essentially a sheet of paper with a photo of the unit showing the top and front panel. But again, if you need this you probably already know how to hook it up and use it. I'm happy to find it. For its relatively low price you can't go wrong.

OMG The knob feel on this thing!
Accurate crossover, sounds like a steep slope haven't measured it yet, no noise, knob feel is great, no slop in the operation of the knobs or switches, and ample gain. Perfect between my preamp and dual subs.

Amazing sound . Cheep circuts
Update . The package wast dropped off , the driver knocked and ran. So one star for the delay . Don’t recommend this product, you won’t receive it so do t waist your time . Solid build , turns any dj amp into a house amp. Brings out low bass, almost like a car amp. Adds a little volume to the amp. But the thing keeps turning off and on every 10 minutes . Could be a defect or just cheap . Not worth the price when it won’t stay on. Giving it 3 stars and returning this . If the company makes it right I’ll review it again.

Just what I needed.
Works great! I bought this to be my low pass filter for my definitive technology sc2000 subwoofer. It does its job well and I also like the fact that it has a set of passi thru rca's as well.

Feels solidly built and has quite a bit of weight to it for such a small box. All the functions work well - stereo/mono, phase invert, crossover frequency. I measured the crossover frequency to check if it matched the dial and it’s within +/- 5 dB from what I can tell. The only issue is that below 120hz you can’t tell exactly where the dial is set because there aren’t enough divisions. Overall, I’m happy with it and it’s given my klipsch promedia 2.1 sub a new life as a low frequency enforcement for my studio monitors!
