Good Protection. Great Price.
I've purchased thousands of these bubble mailers from different vendors over the past few years, and they're all pretty much the same. Good, durable poly with some strong bubble wrap inside. Definitely stronger than your regular bubble wrap that you might wrap an item in. If you ship a lot of small items, which I do, it is way way cheaper to purchase them like this than buying from Uline or Staples. When shipping, the two things you worry about are sudden impacts (like being dropped or being hit against something) and crushing force. I ship a lot of glass christmas ornaments, and this will not protect them from breaking on their own. They do very little against crushing force, but do a decent job with drops. But combined with additional bubble wrap wrapping the item, they do a pretty well. I rarely have an item break in shipping. They're easy to seal and the seal is strong enough to not have to worry about it coming open in transit. Also, if you ship using prepaid labels, they are the perfect size for attaching the 4x6 shipping labels used by PayPal, Etsy, USPS and others.Pros:• Far cheaper than Uline or office supply stores• Strong bubble wrapCons:• For fragile items, still need protection in addition to the mailer.Perfect for: Someone who ships a lot of small, fragile items who needs a sturdy mailer that also provides another layer of protection.

good value SHIPPING IS SLOW
The envelopes are fine. They do not look as bright as they do in the picture, and the sticker is good on the lip of the envelope, if you need to double check the contents of the envelope a couple of times. If you need to reopen the envelope, peel the corner up just a little bit. Then, quickly pull it open and quickly reseal. If you ship a lot of packages the little strips of plastic that keep the adhesive from sticking between the envelopes will certainly drive anyone batty. Since I am a person who is easily frustrated and overwhelmed, I keep a lint roller from IKEA around to pick up to contain the mess of plastic strips that shipping multiple packages makes. Another solution to this problem (when a certain toddler I know takes it upon herself to peel the entire lint roller apart) is to use a misprinted or new shipping label upside down to catch these trouble-making plastic strips.DO NOTE that the shipping for this item is SLOW. They take forever. The box arrived poorly packaged, in my opinion, but with the envelopes fully intact. The money you save on these will be made up in time spent waiting for them. But if you can wait a couple of weeks and you are a good planner, then this is a good value for the the price. The price here beats the price you will pay for as many at any office store. 250 bubble mailers for under thirty dollars is a steal, unless you know something that I do not-in which case I would appreciate an informative comment.

Not quite 5x10
If your looking for a bubble envelope about 5x10 these are a little smaller than 5x10 then these will work. The adhesion also sometimes are already stuck to the envelopes because the little paper to protect them falls off. I would say 4 or 5 in a box are like this.

Shady postal workers or poor adhesive?
For the most part, these are great. I had ordered the same quantity of what looks like the same envelope from another vendor previously, but these were a bit cheaper, so I decided to try them out. The adhesive strip on these is a bit more "gummy" than the ones I had before, but they still seal quite well. I DON'T know for sure if the problem is with the envelopes or if it is with shady postal workers, but I've had two customers in two days complain of getting their packages with the side split open and products missing. I then tested a couple of the envelopes and they do come apart, but it takes a good bit of pulling to make this happen. I'd hate to think it's shady postal workers stealing people's mail... But for right now, I'm not sure. Two in two days? One in PA and the other in NC (sent from Atlanta). The customers think the packages were cut. But the pictures they sent me look like the envelopes were pulled apart (like if you were opening a cereal bag).So until I can do some further research, I'm sticking with four stars. I would prefer that the adhesive wasn't so "gummy," as it makes the plastic strip difficult to come off and the adhesive sometimes comes up with it and then globs up on the adhesive tab. But, like I said, they still seal quite well, in spite of this. I'm just a little wary of the strength of the adhesive on the sides now. :(Update: 3 weeks later and my own paranoia has had me checking the seals on every envelope before I pack my customers' orders into them. I'm sorry to say I've found the side seal to be weak and feel the need to tape up almost every order, costing me a lot more time in my shipping routine than I should be spending. I will not buy these again, and plan on spending the extra money to get paper envelopes that I know are sealed better on the sides.

quality improved~
This is the 2nd time I purchased from the seller. The quality is much better than last year. They changed the package to fit 250 items, so I got the exact quantities I ordered. Last year, I just got 233, after I contacted to the seller, they reshipped 17 items to me. Generally, they are doing a great job. I will buy again, thank you so much!

Not quite 5x10, more like 4.5x10 actually.
These are slightly more narrow than the ones I have ordered in the past. I sell jewelry and use kraft 3.5 x 3.5 x 1 inch boxes to ship my pieces. They normally fit with ease into a 5x10 mailer. However I have to struggle to get them into these mailers. They are too narrow. When I lay them side by side, you can see about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch difference in the width. Beware!
