A great yeast
Arrived quickly. Good yeast for wine making. Long shelf life. Like the metal and plastic packaging. Keeps the yeast fresh for a long time. Easy to use. Just great!

Excellent For Hand Bsking!
The 125G tins of Allinson’s yeast are my standard buy for bread making. But I think it’s essential to replace the plastic lid quickly every time you use it once you’ve broken the seal and opened the peel-back tin lid. I also recommend that once the tin is opened ….you should use the contents within six weeks or so to guarantee successful activation. However, I’ve only ever had one tin that failed when the yeast decided not to co-operate by re-activating! But that was a ‘one off’ and I thoroughly recommend this brand if you’re a keen bread baker as the results are really satisfying. Bread baking is so therapeutic! Rob.

Old fashioned yeast
Old fashioned yeast that needs to be mixed with liquid before adding to dry ingredients, which is what I needed for a slow rise pizza dough, and which I couldn't find in local shops.

Baking
Could get it cheaper from a shop but if you don’t have time it’s ok
