Great Fan
This Amazon Basics fan was a great buy. The fan works great, is fairly quiet, and produces a good amount of air movement. The fan has three settings and the highest setting was a lot more powerful than I expected (in a good way). It was pretty easy to put together as well. The fans is also adjustable for different heights which is a great feature at the price point. The base of the fan is also very sturdy so it won’t be knocked over easy if you have little ones running around by it.

Great value
With summer quickly approaching, I knew it was time to invest in a new fan. I had just relocated from out of state and was essentially starting from scratch when it came to household essentials. Knowing how hot it can get, I wanted to make sure I picked a fan that was reliable, efficient, and would hold up well through the season.I began researching various brands and models, comparing features, prices, and user reviews. Over the years, I’ve had consistently positive experiences with Amazon Basics and other Amazon-branded products, so I naturally gravitated toward them during my search. This particular fan quickly stood out and remained in my top three choices for nearly a month as I weighed my options. Ultimately, it was the overwhelmingly positive reviews combined with my past satisfaction with Amazon products that gave me the confidence to make the purchase. When the fan arrived, it did require some assembly, which I expected—especially since that's fairly common with furniture and appliances these days. Fortunately, the setup process was straightforward. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and with only a few parts to connect, I had it fully assembled and ready to use in no time with minimal effort. Now that the warmer weather is in full swing, this fan has become an essential part of my daily routine. It’s on almost constantly and has done a fantastic job keeping my space cool and comfortable. The fan offers three speed settings, and I typically stick to the low or medium settings for everyday use. However, on those particularly hot and humid days, the high setting provides the extra airflow I need.In terms of noise, it’s impressively quiet. While the high speed does produce a bit more sound, it's nothing intrusive—it easily fades into the background. In fact, the medium setting creates a gentle white noise that I’ve found surprisingly helpful for sleeping at night.Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with this purchase. It’s well-made, performs exactly as promised, and has made a noticeable difference in my comfort during the hotter months. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone in need of a reliable, affordable fan.

Good Fan and EASY Assembly
Quick and simple: This is a great fan, good quality, seems to do all the things you'd want at a plus level. Lots of features. I read a number of reviews specifically mentioning challenges with assembly. I assembled this in less than 5 minutes (including breaking down and cleaning up the packing materials). If you've ever taken apart a fan to clean the screen and fan blade, assembling this fan will be very intuitive for you. Here's my experience assembling the fan without referencing the directions at all. The only two things that may give you pause are...1. There are three holes similar to screw holes on the back part of the fan screen/housing that are covered by a piece of triangular plastic. That piece of plastic just pops off.2. The fan has two fan blandes, a large fan blade and a small fan blade. I hesitated simply because I've never dealt with a fan that had two fan blades. The large blade goes on first, against the back of the housing, the small fan blade goes on top of it to secure them both. That's it. Super intuitive assembly. The fan itself? It's quiet (for a fan) and has numerous distinctive settings. (Power levels, oscillation, that sort of thing.) For instance, you will notice a difference between a "2" and a "1" or a "3" on the fan speed and they seem appropriate for the fan and its size. ("1" moves the air a bit, "3" isn't going to blow dishes off of a table but is reasonably strong.) Two thumbs up from me. If something changes, I'll amend my review, but for now this was a good purchase.

Minor packaging issues, decent fan otherwise
Bought for a family member. Set up was easy enough except for the little flap with the screw. We accidentally snapped it trying to get the two fan covers to seperate. We found a video tutorial for the same fan and the man in the video also broke his. I think the company needs to adjust the way they send those two pieces, it would make it easier to put together and not break anything. Also I think the bottom could be more sturdy. The part where the screw turns into the metal pole has no hole for it to actually go into. If it did, it would be more sturdy. Other than that, the fan is pretty good. I think it's worth a little less than the current price, I would pay about $35 for this. It's practically silent, even on the highest speed. It cooled the room by at least 15 degrees fahrenheit. Set up took 15 minutes, including messing up and looking for a video tutorial. It was easy to set up on my own. The only tool we needed was a screwdriver for the flap screw and since it broke, we truly set this up without ANY tools. The adjustable height is great for the recipient. The oscillating range was wider than expected, it spanned around 180 degrees.
