Perfect for Technics Headshell
These wires are excellent quality, a little thick for the purpose, need some extra care to bend/shape during the install but well worth the effort. I have replaced 1979 Technics headshell wires with these, perfect fit and functioning really well.Don't forget to adjust the stylus force and anti-skate, these are heavier than the vast majority of lead wires, I corrected almost 0.5g.

Great upgrade
Much thicker and connects well. Is it a massive change in sound?… it’s noticeable enough, but if anything it gives me more confidence in my system.

Great sound, but watch out for the tight ends on the 'black' side!
The leads on the 'black taped' ends are VERY TIGHT to the point where I think there is a manufacturing error and they may come 'stuck together' (the g/b/w/r ends are actually perfect). To loosen up the 'black' side, I used a eyeglass screwdriver and a hammer on a piece of rubber to *gently* hammer the screwdriver into the gap in the lead... from there, it can be manipulated and loosened to fit properly. Otherwise sound is fantastic and as I said the other ends (g/b/w/r) are perfectly sized.

Like A Glove
One of the original leads broke on my vintage Jeweltone headshell that belonged to my grandfather. The pins on the inside of the shell are more narrow than the other modern headshells I own. These worked like a charm. Very well made and thicker than all my other leads as well. Really opened up the signal from the VM95EN cart. Will order another set to go on my recently purchased OC9XEN.

Perfect Fit
These headshell leads are worth the money their perfect snug fit alone. Had to replace the leads on my new Technics turntable, and they do actually improve sound quality.

Impossible to install without modification
An incredible pain to install. I just gave up and returned these. Take note as this isn’t evident when you order them, the black shrink-wrapped end has a different inside diameter than the colored end. It’s mentioned in the instructions. If you zoom into the stock photo, you can see the difference. I’m not sure why AT elected to design these cable this way.The black side would not easily fit on either my Gemini or Audio Technica headshell. The colored ends were a bit loose on my Ortofon Q.Bert OM cartridge.

Difficult to Assemble
I upgraded my Audio Technica stylus/cartridge and decided to put it on a new AT Headshell. I also decided to upgrade to these wires over the stock ones. Since I upgraded the stylus at the same time as the wires I can’t speak to the sound difference of the leads alone. The wires are a substantial improvement over the standard ones that come with the lower model headshell I ordered. Much thicker than stock but shorter. The connectors are also much better than standard.I’m writing this, and took off one star because the connectors were Extremely Difficult to put on. Particularly the end that attaches to the headshell. Using an appropriately sized pair of needle nose pliers and much more force than I was comfortable using it was still impossible to get the connector over the pin. I resorted to using a razor knife insert carefully into the slit on the side of the connector. This opened the connector just enough to go over the pin. It still required a very firm push with the pliers and the connections are very solid. The cartridge side also requires a very strong push with the pliers but there was no need to adjust the connector to fit over the pins.Hope this helps someone.
