CamelBak Eddy+ BPA Free Water Bottle

I’ve been using a generic bottle for the past year. Well it finally bit the dust so I decided, “why not get something a little more sturdy this time?” So I got these ones. I bring it to work with me and to the gym. I like how its easy to carry around. It hasn’t leaked on me either for the week that I’ve had it so far. From what I’ve read, this is actually a redesign of the classic by Camelbak. Something about the bite valve being a different shape? I’ve never used the original so I can’t comment on the change but I’m pretty happy with what I got. One thing that I particularly like is how the carrying handle is so wide. My previous bottle didn’t have that so it was always kind of difficult to hold. I can actually fit two fingers into it which gives me to get a good grip. I’m happy to say that I haven’t dropped it yet! What’s a review without a pros and cons section, right? Well here it is: Pros - The water bottle seems durable. Like I said earlier I haven’t dropped it yet so I don’t know if the material will dent easily but the construction itself seems durable? For one thing the top feels sturdy enough so that I don’t have to worry about attaching it to my bag. The straw that comes out of the top is also a good thickness. Its also wide enough so that you can easily get that liquid from the bottle. The size means that it holds a lot of water too. I don’t know if it has special insulation or anything but it does keep my water cool for several hours. The mouth piece is easy to use as well. It doesn’t make any funny noise when you drink out of it which is a huge upgrade for me (that happened often with my previous bottle). Cons - Ok, so the color that you see on the listing isn’t actually the color that you’ll get. Well, its close but not really. I got it in blue and while it was blue, it was a lot darker than what it looked like in the picture. I still like it, its just that I expected it to be different. From what Ive seen this is the case for most of the other colors as well. So just keep that in mind when you’re picking out which to get. The other thing that I want to mention is that the bottle is a bit of a challenge to clean. Its dishwasher safe but you have to take apart all the components. From my experience I’ve found that its best to wash it by hand with a bottle brush- something like these. They get rid of the grime that builds up on the plastic. Make sure to pay extra attention to the spout and under the lid (the part where the straw connects), mold can easily grow in those areas!! Overall, I’m happy with my purchase. It’s definitely a step up from what I’m used to using.

Different bite than previous models but easy to get used to. No leak as some reported. I really like it.

I bought mt first CamelBak 750ml bottle about 15 years ago, and used it 5 years until I I dropped it on concrete. I replaced it with the same model and used that one 10 years until recently the mouth tube began to split. It still worked ok but I thought I was due a new one. I purchased the new version on this order with the clear bottle, it is so clear it looks like fine crystal, beautiful! This new version has an improved mouthpiece, it has a posiitive locking action and more water flow. I can take a swig in the middle of the night while lying in bed and it doesnt leak a single drop! CamelBak does a great job, this is my goto brand for life.

I love CamelBaks for all of the most popular reasons such as they're leak proof, easy to drink from, durable, etc. But I also love CamelBaks for another reason...they're quiet. When I was a student sitting in a quiet lecture or currently in a meeting at work, I don't want to have to worry about if my water bottle is going to sound like a pterodactyl or not when I drink from it. I've had Contigo water bottles before as well as some other off-brand ones, but they all make weird dinosaur noises when you drink from them. CamelBak is completely quiet when you drink from it and I really appreciate that. The straw also goes all the way to the bottom, which is nice. The only thing I don't like about this particular bottle is that it doesn't fit in my cup holders, but it is 1 L so what are you gonna do.

This replaced my long lasting CamelBak Eddy that finally got dropped on concrete one too many times. Overall this is a great bottle. Good color selection, easy to use (raising the spout a bit stiff, but I suspect it will loosen up) and holds 1000ml (32oz). The only negative I can put forward was trying to fit it in a car cup holder. The day after I got it, we jumped in our Honda CRV and it din't fit in console cup holders or in the door . It tightly fits in my truck cup holder only when I removed the rubber liner. So if fitting this in your car cup holder is important, get a smaller size or look at alternative water bottles. Other then that, it's a great product.

I wanted a large 1L bottle for the gym, came across this camelbak bottle (both of my kids have the kiddy versions) and gave it a try. The bite valve works and allows sufficient amount of water through whilst taking quick sips in gym classes. It is also a nice round amount so I use it to gauge my water intake whilst outside of the gym too. I’ve tried many bottles before this and this one is my favourite so far.

Excellent upgrade from slightly inferior, older version (due to broken spout button after 1year of frequent use). This new version facilitate also easier and better cleaning of the spout channel inside, thus more hygienic and healthier. Daily use at work to keep hydrated. Easy to take sip -s 'on run' or in car without risk of spillage on your spotless shirt or clothing/ suit. Transparent bottle allows to keep easily an eye on remaining drink level. No scratches, no cracks despite unintentional drops or bangs. Highly recommend for health conscious busy professionals! Planning to use the same cover and straw with stainless steel, single wall Nalgene bottle for bushcraft / adventure / survival purposes. This use not tested yet...

Had to replace my water bottle after 4-5 years. Really love the CamelBak brand and the bottles always last. Always recommend these

Handig en helpt bij het nuttigen van water. Het tuitje is makkelijk te gebruiken en de fles is makkelijk schoon te maken.

I like the small size it fits in my hand better
