Compatibility with cookset
Very good with 1/2 person cook sets. Attaches to fuel bottle, not the ground-will not blow over on rocky terrain. Can be stored around pot for travel so won't get bent.

A+++++ Windshield / Stable / Easy to pack / Looks great!
Used the "Optimus" while backpacking the Mt Whitney high country (Sequoias/Inyo) for 5 days. Worked like a charm and even gave my "GSI SI Outdoors Pinnacle Soloist" more stability. Worth every penny for the price. And YES....worked great with a decent amount of wind.Clamps on to the neck of the canister and no wobble. Even looks great!I leave it wrapped about my pot and pack it together as if it's a unit.I use it with my "Ultralight Backpacking Canister Camp Stove with Piezo Ignition 3.9oz (silvery Stove and orange box)" (Amazon) and in my humble opinion......... me it packs down smaller then a Jet Boil.

The box is just as great!!
Love this! Fits my SnowPeak stove perfectly. The box it came in is ...wonderful!! I kept the box. It's really nice.My Dad is thrilled with his new windscreen. He loves the box it came in just as much.The shipping was bang on. Thanks. Really great!

Great if your pot is the right size and your stove is low profile
Small, simple, and effective. It's not as light as titanium but it also doesn't cost that much. It flexes and clips onto the neck of your fuel can and provides effective wind protection for most low profile stoves without the risk of falling off or causing your fuel can to overheat. Be sure the "radius" of this windshield will work with your pot/cook system. I use it with the Optimus Terra Weekend HE (.95L) pot and it fits perfectly (since it was designed for this pot) and should work fine with similar or smaller diameter pots. It probably won't work with larger diameter pots.I haven't tried doing an actual "weigh your fuel and see how much you save" test but I just like the fact that I can easily rotate this around and have it block the wind and still have access to my stove's igniter and valve on the "downwind side" of the windshield.Because my pot nests inside of this, it essentially added no volume to my backpack, only a little extra weight.
