High quality, easy to adjust, accurate. Highly recommend!
I bought this to be retrofitted in my Oase biomaster 250 and it’s fantastic. I’m extremely happy with the filter and one of the main reasons is because I can store a heater in the filter! Not only that but I can also easily change it out if I ever need to upgrade or replace. This is a godsend as some other canister filters have a built in heater that would cost a fortune to replace and doesn’t provide the flexibility to choose what size you need. For example since I use the filter for my 35 litre aquarium, I didn’t need a 150W heater so I just bought the non heater version and separately bought this 75W heater and fitted into my filter and it’s been working wonders.Another amazing thing is that it’s soo easy to adjust the temp! The heater adjuster pokes out of the filter so adjusting it takes literally a few seconds without getting your hands wet. Also with the heater being fitted in the filter, the heated water is being circulated around which means that heat is distributed evenly throughout the tank and to the filter which helps my beneficial bacteria thrive. (Pictures show how it looks when fitted in the filter. Easily accessible to adjust/check temp)An important thing to note is you should always turn off the temperature during water changes and never turn it on when it’s out of the water. This is what destroys all aquarium heaters! Not to mention this is very dangerous and I’ve heard some heaters causing a fire because it made contact with air. So please remember to only turn it on when its fully submersed. If you’re using this heater in your Oase biomaster filter, only switch it on when there are no more air bubbles in the filter after priming it after the water a change. I usually wait 10-20 minutes before turning it back on and I’ve had no issues whatsoever.

Oase drops the ball here
I've used Hidomi heaters for years without issue. I've purchased them from various suppliers including various models and never had one problem with them over the course of several years.Oase on the face of it seem like an equally reliable brand. More so given the strong track record of their pumps, many of which i've serviced and worked on without any reliability issues. However, when we get into their heaters... oh dear. This is a premium priced heater and it just kept heating intermittently. It's taken me several months to show it's broken as it occasionally turns on, then procedes to die again.I don't know if it's the thermostat busted or water ingress, but it just ceases to work and now I have to see if it's even possible to sort out via warranty.

Good quality product
This is a well made heater/stat accurate out of the box, easy to adjust temp with tool provided, won't let the temperature be altered accidentally as you have insert tool to alter it.

Intermittent
Works when it decides to, makes funny buzzing noise every so often, i think thats when it decides to turn on, the temperature fluctuates between 4 degrees each heat cycle, installed in the filter as advertised and have high flow rate to reduce the local hotspot but no, constantly fluctuating temperatures cant be great, disappointed, i bought oase thinking they were decent, i'm not impressed with the filter or the heater, definitely going elsewhere next time
