They are not the 'thick' I am looking for. I can be on my feet several hours out of a day, and I am looking for thicker socks to wear with my boots which have a very nice cushioned sole. I am not returning the socks as I will use them under other conditions than wearing them to work.

Update: 2 pair have a hole in them after only a month and a half. These are comfy, but don't last long.These are soft and comfortable but they pill like crazy! My feet stay warm but don't sweat in these like they do sometimes in thick cotton socks. I really am surprised that wool socks can be this soft. So far they have held up through multiple wears and washings. There haven't been any issues with hanging threads or any issues with the seams. If they didn't pill so much I would give them 5 stars.

Very nice and comfy sock! Very warm indeed! I got this for winter to be combined with winter boots. My feet have been warm at all times even at -40. Before these socks, I could have problems sometimes with other socks, getting my feet cold when reaching such temperatures.

useless. it was supposed to be 9-12. I wear an 8 1/2. after one wash, it shrank a quarter less. If you wear a 12, your getting an ankle high sock. It's not warm at all. My cotton socks from Costco are thicker and warmer. They may be good down in Texas or the South, but I live in Montana. Worthless, don't buy.

Husband loves these. He only wear boots for both work and dress and says they are great with either. Very well made with nice smooth but tight seams at the toes. No uncomfortable seam bulge to rub the skin or create uncomfortable lumps. Nice strong ribbed stretch design at top makes socks stay in place. Soft and warm - had to try on a pair myself. Recommended if looking for quality.

As soon as I put these socks on I knew these were the softest, the most wonderful socks ever. My husband’s feet hurt all the time till I gave him these socks and now his feet are fine. Everyone in my family is getting these socks for Christmas. You have to wear them to believe it.

These wool socks are great. In Maine the weather can get very cold. I wear two pairs of these socks in 0° weather very often and stay very warm. These socks are great for the price and I’ve been wearing them almost daily for several months now and they have held up very well. Two pairs is not quite enough when ice fishing and -10° weather but that’s not what I bought these socks for so they do exactly what I wanted them too.

Good looking socks, thick and fluffy but do run just a little smaller than my Field and Stream Cabin socks which I love. I have to be careful about tight fitting socks so will watch if they loosen up after wearing and washing. As is I think they will be fine just wanted to mention the minor fit difference.

Save your money and don't buy these socks. My feet were freezing cold (and I was in the basement). The material is very thin. I doubt it is wool. The socks are not able to remain on my calf, they instead keep falling down towards my ankles. I am returning them.

Not all that warm, smallish so once you stretch them on your feet they lose thickness, and ankle is far too low to use in a boot, I find it so low as to be uncomfortable. One was already getting linty.

These are so warm! I even bought another one for my gf since they also look good on her.One down side tho, they look different after being washed, but it's not really a big deal considering the price.
