Paradise1/4-Inch Wood Slats Bird Toy

My two stars have nothing to do with quality and everything to do with quantity. I ordered these as foot toys for my cockatoo. They are nothing more than dyed lath or fir strips at a price that works out to nearly 50 cents a piece and my woodchipper went through them in no time flat. I have an indian ringneck she loves to chew so I bought these for here to chew on but I've noticed she is very picky she only likes the green colored ones why I have not a clue it's a good price for how many you get I just wish there was a way to buy a certain color if you have a medium size bird these are good but if you have a big bird like a cockatoo or something like that if I was you I would get them a big toy because with there big beaks these wouldn't last long at all

My mustache parakeet chewed through these like they were vegetables! The wood is way too soft. She chewed through 8 of them in one day where she would have chewed through only two or three of the other brand I used to buy. Unfortunately that other brand was discontinued.

I buy these to build toys for my bird. I wish I could find more wooden parts for bird toys at an affordable price. I think these are fairly expensive because you don’t get very many for the price. I like them and will probably order again just so I have some different size pieces of wood to make toys.

Bird can chew these up without poisoning himself, so it's a good toy for the cage. I add them to pre existing toys or cardboard for extra chewing opportunities.

We always keep a box or 2 of these around for refurbishing toys for our little guy who ONLY likes this size of wood. We wish the holes were a tad bigger so we could use more types of rope and such for toy making but we can always carve out a bigger hole if needed... it's just a hassle. But we love this stuff otherwise! I'd give it 5 stars if the holes were a bit bigger.

Save the hanging wire from store-bought bird toys and string these wooden pieces together with cardboard discs. Making my own bird toys has been saving quite a bit of money as my bird chews through toys very quickly!

Unsere Vögel lieben diese kleinen Holz-Bausteine! Es handelt sich um sehr weiches Holz und so haben beide ein Erfolgserlebnis beim Schreddern :-) (Amazone und Schwarzohrpapagei). Für größere oder große Papageien würde ich anderes Holz empfehlen denn diese hier würden bei ausgeprägtem Nagebedürfnis wohl nur ganz kurz überdauern. Was mich etwas gestört hat, dass ich nirgends auf der Verpackung eine Information über die darin enthaltenen Farbstoffe gefunden habe. Ich hoffe sehr dass dieses Papageienspielzeug mit Lebesmittelfarben gefärbt wurde!
