I was really impressed with the quality of this kit BUT... I have built many (12) dollhouses so am aware of the challenges. This kit, however, has so many parts, some of which were missing, and the instructions are not always clear so it becomes a struggle to complete. I ended up buying different components from other vendors to achieve the final product (porch railing and posts, flooring and roof to replace paper products, etc.). The structure of the basic house is solid and well designed and I appreciated the wallpaper application. I wish I could give this a higher rating but there are too many problems that make it frustrating.

I've put together several of these mini kits. This one has instructions that were not understandable, so I had to go by the pictures. The ends of the lights were very short so I had to very carefully strip some of the plastic off the wire to make a better connection. The wires were grey to black and white to red to connect them to the battery switch box. This might not be the case with other kits. I put the changing color light (two lights total) inside the house by the slightly open doorway. The smaller fence only had room for three posts so I left the fourth one off. Still turns out very cute. I enjoy putting them together and displaying them.

This is an absolutely beautiful build but!! Extremely hard to put together. Why??? The directions are atrocious!! They're in black and white and look like they've been xeroxed so many times that they're smudgy looking. Very confusing as well. Between the directions and looking at the images on the box I was able to complete it but I know of at least 3 people who have given up and either put it away or just trashed it and it's all because of the horrible directions!! Please, manufacturers, make clear, concise directions in color!! Especially for the price we're paying for it!!

really poor instructions, no clear way to assemble it. you're supposed to glue the wood onto paper appliqué. This is not for anyone. My wife is having big dstrouble and we suspect the way you have to glue it together will make it very very fragile. No kid could do it.This was a bad choice.

Missing pieces very hard to put together still doing it not easy instructions The pieces i am missing all the little screws in the picture can you please send me at least 10 Little screws thank you

Great little projects, The lights are a stupid addition as after they are fit into the slot made forthem, you can't get them back out to refresh the batteries. The wood piece you put over that area is not workable for the lights. I bought 3. All three are done except the light cover , because once it's glued in , I once again can't change the batteries.Would not buy again, but would indeed make my own.

Fun to put together, and it was really adorable when completed! I love it!. BUT the cover it comes with is plastic, not glass like noted in the description.

The first one we received was missing the instructions and pieces. Returned that one and the second kit we received is still missing pieces. We are just making our own pieces to replace missing ones.
