We love this rug! My partner and I are colourful people and we enjoy decorating our home to reflect our personality. This rug had a lot of the warm, rich fuchsia tones we like in our living room in a more natural looking fibre that complements our preferred aesthetic. While the reason for getting the rug was to cover a relatively small water-damaged spot on our wooden floors, after some consideration we opted for the 6' size and I'm glad we did. The rug fills the space well but has a low-profile, and does not interfere with our chairs or furniture. As for the colour, ours is largely very true to the image. However, the braid of jute or sisal-like natural-colour fibre that runs between the rings of colourful braids is darker than the image. In our case it's perfect as it blends well with our stained-oak floors! Think more cardboard-beige colour than the sandy shade it looks like in the item photo. Either way, it is lovely, and the appearance is as promised. The strands are tightly woven together and well-sewn. It appears to be a very quality piece. Though the bargain-hunter in me balked at spending so much for something that just sits on the floor and we are going to step on, it is clear that a LOT of careful work went into this rug, and I feel it is well worth the price. To address something another reviewer mentioned, my cats do love this rug as well! Though ours do less scratching and more lounging. We were worried in getting this item that it would be shredded within a week by our 3 cats, but so far, so good. They give it a scratch every rare now and then but it is holding up just fine to their claws and is not showing any wear or making a mess of shredded fibres. The reason we opted for this style at all was out of concern of the cats - who, out of what I can only imagine to be pure wickedness, enjoy peeing on our plush bathmats - would think a normal rug was like grass and tinkle on it. They have not attempted to do so with this rug, fortunately! All in all I would definitely recommend this product to pet owners.

This adorable, oval mat is perfect for the kitchen. I cut some non-skid rubber for underneath. It's colorful and held together when I yanked and pulled on it. I chose this rug because my grandma had many of these with similar construction. She'd soap them up a little with a sponge outside on the driveway, hose the soap off, then drape over the clothesline to dry.

I absolutely love this multicolored circular rug! It’s thick, plush, and the colors are even more vibrant in person. It really ties the room together and feels super high-quality underfoot. I’m really happy with this purchase!

We have just opened this rug and put it down today. I was surprised that it is made from cotton as well as jute, but the pattern, and the colors, are truly wonderful. We have the rug on the floor in our painting studio and it immediately began to draw out some of the more vibrant colors in my partner's oil paintings. It is a beautiful handmade object. The only caveat is that it is not woven completely flat; like it is 90% rug and 10% sombrero. I know that sounds pretty negative, but the colors and the originality of this piece combined with the fact that it is an all natural handmade piece at an affordable price have compelled me to write a review.

It does not lay flat but close. It's handmade so I expected that. Very cool rug. I remember that style in my Grandma's house. If she were alive she'd be about 130 years old. That's how old this style is. Love it. Boho, fast delivery Recommend
