Pyunkang Yul PKY Intensive Repair Cream - Ceramide Moisturizer for Dry Skin with Shea Butter & Macadamia Oil, 1.7 Fl. Oz

I have HIGHLY sensitive, acne prone skin that tends to be on the dry side. It is so incredibly difficult for me to find products that work for my skin because I tend to get irritation which leads to break outs, or they simply don't provide enough hydration for me, leading to irritation and breakouts. It's a vicious cycle. I have been searching for a deep hydrating moisture cream that will work in my daily skin care routine for at least a year now. Even Cetaphil Rich Hydrating Face Cream would burn my skin half the time. I was so frustrated because what do you do if even the most basic skin care brand, known for being basic and gentle, burns your skin?I am so grateful that I found this brand. I first tried their Essence Toner and was in love so I decided to try this Intensive Repair Cream.This product is intense moisture but doesn't feel heavy on my skin at all. It absorbs so well and keeps my skin hydrated for 12 hours or more. One of my favorite things is that it is totally fragrance free. I have been combining this cream with either a hyaluronic acid serum (either from The Ordinary or Good Molecules) or a gel cream moisturizer (my favorite is the Goodal Calming Cream). I feel the Pyunkang Yul Repair Cream *really* sinks in this way, and it also thins the cream just a bit for the days I feel my skin need slightly lighter, but still effective, hydration.I love this brand so much. The two products I have tried have both become part of my morning and nighttime skincare routine. I feel like they are secret weapons in keeping my skin soothed, clear and hydrated. Not to mention that the packaging of this product is beautiful. This cream comes in a nice, weighty glass jar and the box feels very nice and high quality as well. Most importantly, the products themselves FEEL luxurious on the skin.I honestly am scared to recommend these products to others because I don't want there to be high demand! lol But, if you have sensitive skin or are looking for no BS, effective and simple skincare, Pyunkang Yul is gonna be a god send.

I’m new to Korean skincare, but dry winter weather wreaks havoc on my skin. This is a medium thick cream that really melts nicely into my skin after applying my evening ritual of serums and has kept my skin barrier in perfect moisturized condition without any breakouts at all this winter. It has no scent that I can detect and I wake up with baby soft skin in the morning. I bought the smaller size and a little goes a long way. It is definitely on my repurchase list.

At $5.35 per ounce with superb , nurishing ingredients excellent value for the money. Not super cheap but also not expensive. Good solid value for the money. Super moisturizine, excellent for Retin-A users or those with dry, sensitive skin. Thick, smooth cream neutral scent a little goes a long way. Highly recommend. Just purchased 5 jars. Bonus that the blue glass jars are reusable for other crafts and products.

I gave this product 5 stars so maybe it’ll get read faster.I put this cream on my arms first. It didn’t do anything. Then I applied it to my face. It feels okay I guess. It does have “an after scent”… It reminds me of the times I’ve gone fishing and camping. It smells like a light fish smell. I cannot get past this smell. I then looked at the ingredients, thinking it contained maybe snail or fish mucus? I didn’t see anything, but I only scanned the long list of ingredients. I’m unsure what I’ll do with this cream now. The smell ruins it for me. I definitely wouldn’t have bought it, knowing this. Good luck.xx

I can’t say enough about this product and the skin care line overall. Safe for all skin types. This specific product hydrates and heals your skin barrier. I am a Medical Esthetician and recommend this to the majority of my patients. It’s an amazing dupe for a high end triple lipid skin care line - not sure I can’t name it on this platform, but iykyk 😉

I’m allergic to copper. I knew that from having a reaction to cheep jewelry years ago, but didn’t realize the ingredient in this sensitive skin cream was the actual copper allergen. I woke up with my face so swollen and cracking. I washed it off and after cold compress made it better and I used this moisturizer again (I didn’t know it was the problem) and my face immediately swolle up- skin seriously splitting, it hurt terribly. I’ve never had a reaction to lotion so it took me a minute (and washing it off frantically) and then I read the ingredients. Cream was a fine texture and it smells fine, but using a known allergen in sensitive skin cream is absurd. Unable to return as I didn’t save the packaging.
