Revlon Colorstay Eyeshadow Primer

It's a little wet when first on and doesn't dry quickly enough for me to go to work. It holds eye powder on but eye liner still slides off but probably because I'm in a rush. Better than not using it though 😁

So this is ok, it evens out the skin tone on the eyelids and feels silky to apply. It's not the best at holding eyeshadow though especially as I have oily skin. I've found that the "stickier' ones hold eyeshadow better so it depends what you want it to do

Eye shadow primer. Revlon is probably the best one on the market, but it is no longer sold in high street stores.

Sadly not great for me and my hooded, greasy eyelids! Worked moderately ok, but I've given up and instead purchased the Urban Decay eyelid primer instead, which works great!

Great product, really happy with it.

I had high expectations having used revlon colourstay foundation for years. However I’m not impressed by this. It is far too liquidy and barely stays on my eyelids. Within an hour my eyeshadow is creased. The only positive is that it is suitable for my sensitive skin and blends out well into the foundation around my eyes. Overall it’s not worth the hassle or money for such a disappointment.

The packing was old looking no doubt out of date. It's not a risk I wish to use on my eyes.

Just as described; does not allow eye shadow to crease; very long-lasting for wearing all day; allows the true color of the eye shadow to come through; best primer I've ever used. Highly recommend it!

I wanted to start by saying that I've never used a primer for eye shadow before so I can't compare this to other products. That said, I tried it today for the first time and was just blown away. I do my makeup at about 7:15 am. Before finding this product, I was unhappy that whenever I put eye shadow on, after just a couple of hours it was half gone and blotchy. And by lunchtime it was mostly gone. I was told at the cosmetic counter that eye primer is the solution for that. So I ordered this product. In fact I ordered 2 and I am glad I did. This is instantly a must-have product for me. First the colour of this primer is perfect for me. It really evens out my skin tone on my lids. No more of the mauve at the bottom of my lids. Just evens out everything and creates a solid palette to work from. It also goes on very smoothly. And ... WOW! It's now 13 1/2 hours since I put it on and it never went blotchy at all, as my shadows are wont to do. By 10 hours later my eye shadow was pretty near perfect. I couldn't believe it, kept looking in the mirror. It has just starting to fade now. I'd say it's at half mast now. Like 50% lighter. After 13 1/2 hours. It took almost 14 hours to do what normally happens for me in 2 or 3 hours. I cannot see ever doing my eye shadow without using this first. This is a definite must-have makeup product for me

A TINY bit goes a long way, it goes on smooth (it has a sheen to it that they don't mention in the description, but it doesn't shine through the eyeshadow) and really makes my eyeshadow pop. Also, after a whole day of wear I get no (or barely any) buildup of eyeshadow in the crease! I'm in my 40s so my eye lids are starting to show age, this primer works great for me. I'm getting low so buying it again
