Good quick read. Good advice.
Easy and quick read. Great for non book readers. Great for youth starting work. Was a book in a list of required ready when I was in an office. Bought several for high school graduates. Good advice for getting things done in a leadership position.

A must read
If you only read one book about management, make it this. It’s skips the heavy theory and often unnecessarily complex content you get in other business management books. It gets straight to the point by using relevant examples and has clear guidance and tips within each chapter. It’s small, so easy to fit in your bag to bring on your commute.

The most cringy book I've listened to ever!
I got it initially because of the really high Amazon reviews, and I purchased both the audiobook CDs and the book. I tried very hard, but I never could finish this book. I'm a big fan of business books and self-improvement books, but this one was so tedious! To start the story is an attempt at writing in verse. In this genre, the author is likely doing this because they want to make the book more interesting and drive their point in several different ways. This only works if the author can write something interesting for the story. It starts out with a series of run-ins with different people who all repeat the same pattern about four more times than someone can stand. All of these appear to be building hype for what comes next, but it's frustratingly long. The main protagonist in this story does not seem to have a name -- at least as far as I was able to get into the book. I tried to listen to the book with my wife in the car one time (who herself is a big fan of all books), and she begged me to turn it off.Again, I didn't make it to the end because it was just so cringy and obnoxious that as much as I really wanted to, I just couldn't! There is possibly gold somewhere past the halfway mark, but I couldn't continue any further. My final criticism is that what little actual advice was given wasn't very good.I really hope my one-star review can balance out some of the other glowing reviews because this book doesn't deserve a good rating.
