Another classic Bryan Adams album - can't go wrong!
Great tunes, by a great singer-songwriter! There are a few cuts on this one that made the top 10 charts back in the day, they are still very very enjoyable and listenable and singable (lol) and everyone including my kids should be listening to these classic hits. I rate this one as a 4 only because it's awfully tough to live up to what Bryan Adams did when he produced "Cuts Like a Knife" and of course one of the all-time classics "Reckless". I don't think there's many albums in history that top those 2, just my humble opinion. But I love this CD, and even though I already own the CD I bought the download anyway, just to have the digital version available to me anywhere I go on the road on my phone, iPad, laptop, etc... You can't go wrong with any Bryan Adams album!

Non radio hits are the best songs on this CD
I like the songs Native Son, Rememberence Day, and Home Again the best. This CD is a must for B. A. fans.

I enjoyed this album when I was a kid and decided to purchase it in its CD form, finally. The CD has hits, but if you are looking for Adams' trademark biggest hits, this album doesn't really have them. Heat of the Night and Victim of Love are probably my two favorite songs on the CD, but Native Son is another solid song, even if it wasn't a hit.In a lot of ways this was the last "rocking" album Adams did. He kind of shifted to the adult contemporary sound after this album.

Great Bryan Adams album
One of the three best Bryan Adams albums. The other two being Cuts Like a Knife and Reckless. Received this CD quickly and in perfect condition.

More memorable music from Bryan Adams.
More great 80's music. I ordered two copies of this because I got one from directly from Amazon. Later I noticed that it was a CD-R copy. In my mind I thought that was the same as burning a copy on my computer. I received it with a cd jacket. I ordered another copy from an Amazon seller just in case. There is a slight difference between the sound of the A&M records made copy and the Amazon CD-R but both sound amazing. Both arrived in about a week.

Great Album
I think this is one of Bryan's best work and underrated. Native Son is my all-time favorite of Bryan and Keith. Keith Scott is just brilliant. Everyone needs this in their Bryan Adams catalogue.

Four Stars
Good album, Adams delivers some of his strongest material on this release.

Only the Strong Survive
The above title is the sole reason why I bought this album. Ignorant me hadn't considered the talent that is Bryan Adams until I listened to the entire album. I've listened to it wholly at least four times since receiving it about a week ago. "Only the strong survive" is still my favorite, however his other hits such as "Into the fire", "Hearts on Fire", "Rebel" and "Heat of the night" are just as good. I strongly recommend this album, get it in vinyl if possible!

Scratched
Disc appears to have been stored outside its case. It has heavy wear scratches on it and does not play properly.

Masterpiece
Scary to think that it was 33 years ago I bought this on cassette and cherished it on a little tape player. The passion of the writing, vocals and soaring guitar lines bring me right back to that uncertain period. People wanted or expected another Reckless, but what they got was a better and more deeply affecting record in my opinion. It stands alone in Adam's catalogue, and in rock music in general, as a misunderstood and underrated masterpiece.

Sounds much better now than it did in 1987!
I bought this album in 1987 on vinyl after waiting patiently for 2 years following 'Reckless'. I remember feeling a great sense of disappointment at the time as it sounded a bit downbeat and I never owned it on CD until I bought it last week. I am shocked how good it sounds now. Native Son, Remembrance Day and Home Again are three of the best tracks he has ever recorded and only Track 4, 'Another Day', is weak. The critics always berate this album but it deserves re-appraisal as a forgotten gem when Bryan still rocked more than popped!
