Does what it says
I needed a waterproof jacket that was actually warm. This is waterproof and is warm, proper warm.Do, bear in mind that’s what I needed. As a mountaineer, this would not work, the build quality and features don’t extend to that kind of gear. It’s advertised as a ski jacket and here it would work well.My brief was to be warm and dry on woodland and coastal walks in winter, and or cold rainy days. So I looked at Barbour, and North Face etc.Barbour, very nice, very expensive but disappointingly didn’t feel that warm. Not to mention I don’t own a Range Rover, or a pair of Hunters, nor have a whacking great Irish wolfhound so probably not entitled to buy one.North Face, great if you are actually going up the north face. And while I have done many a Munro I’m not in the game for anymore so mountaineering jackets seem overkill and again realistically for a good warm one you’re talking £200 upwards.I bought the blue, XL.I am 6’ 2”, 12 stone 3 lbsPerfect fit, which for me means sleeves run all the way down the arms and cuffs cover an inch over the base of the hand.Good room to stretch arms without being baggy and falling off shoulders. Stomach in-line to chest the jacket body is snug, not tight, but not so loose as to be draughty in strong wind. Jacket body good length for my height, passing a ‘good’ inch over the hips.Hood is snug and can be tightened to the face but does not have the cranium adjustment seen in other jackets, is a little short over the forehead so it would be a good idea to wear a peaked cap under the hood especially if there’s a chance of hail.Today on a very gusty exposed coastal walk with the odd heavy shower it kept me toasty warm and dry. Job done then and for an extremely reasonable £50 or so.

Ok but not great
This coat comes one size too small so be careful. If you want XXL dont bother as too small.Qaulity is ok nothing more.I thought it on the expensive side for what turned up, i was expecting more for the price.Velcrow on hood is useless as its sewn the wrong way to come together. Stitching is not great either in my opinion.Im not a fussy person, but this not even close to quality sorry.Save your money and buy something you can look at closely in my humble opinion.

Nice jacket
Good quality fits with plenty of room for extra layers, if you want this jacket to fit nice and snug I would recommend a size smaller. This jacket is warm but it's only rain resistant like most jacket, for really bad weather I just use a thin lightweight waterproof jacket over the top

Good value coat.
Only problem I have with this coat is that zips on the female side rather than mens. Otherwise wise its a very good coat at a reasonable price

XXL still smaller than expected
even for XXL its a tight fit, i can zip it up but theres not alot of room and i cant tie the hood up, its not big enough to go round my neck the slightest wind blows it down.it has 3 ouside pockets which are small, wont get much more than a mobile phone in them, and one small pocket inside. The coat its self although tight its deffinately warm and kept my body dry from light rain, dislike the hood.i recommend a hat to replace the hoods jobs, if you must deffinatly consider the XXL size, im glad i didnt get L size that would of been worse meh....
