This cream was like a lifesaver. I woke up one morning and my eyes were incredibly itchy, scaly red and I looked liked I had been punched in the face.After much research, I ordered this cream and within two days, the redness the scales and the itching was gone.This cream soothed and calmed the skin around my eyes. I’ve also recently been suffering from terrible allergies, and my nose became red and also scaly, and I’ve been using this cream in the end of my nose, and the scales and redness have disappeared.I will always keep this cream on hand.

I really do like this cream. My skin is so dry that I generally use Vaseline. This cream is very rich and my skin doesn't feel dry even after hours of wear. Great product in my book!!!

This is a THICK cream that helps the barrier. I use this on my hands and my neck after retinol treatment. It is definitely a nighttime cream. But it is healing and nourishing.

I am giving this 4 stars after replacing one empty bottle with another. I also provided to my mother (early 50s). I do a whole skin care routine prior to using this, and in my opinion this formula is just a bit too thick. I probably won't purchase since I already have a thick nightly moisturizer and have been using this as a daily moisturizer. No matter how long it sits, or how prepped my skin is for this step it just never seems to actually be absorbed. A layer is left sitting on top which makes applying makeup. I don't wear make up super often but even if I'm bare faced 2-3hrs after application, if i run or touch my face the lotion cam be scraped off. I thought it was a different part of my routine and the rich moisturizer MAY be a really good overnight cream, just not right for my skin as a daily.

My face was dry and flaky, but red and bumpy at the same time. 2 uses of this cream and my face is perfect! It's lightweight and leaves my skin silky. No dry skin or red bulbs. Will definitely buy again!

I was hesitant to buy this lotion because of the price, but because of the other reviews and a search on Google, I decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did. No other lotion has ever hydrated my skin so well, nor had any other lotion stopped itching so quickly. During the winter, my skin gets very dry and some parts get insanely itchy, mainly the tops of my feet/ankles and hands. Sometimes I get little rash bumps on my hands. Using the Avene calms the itch quickly and the rash bumps don't last. A little goes a long way. Not greasy feeling. Soaks into my skin beautifully.If you're debating because of the price, stop.
